Analytics Field Value Indicator — Automatically Populate Threshold Options for School-Based Fields Such as STU.CU
What is happening now:
The Field Value Analytics Indicator type requires threshold values to be manually added to the Update Code Table (Table/Field at School = 0) before they appear in the threshold dropdown. For fields like STU.CU (Counselor Number), which reference school-based teacher numbers (TCH.TN), this means districts must manually enter each teacher number as a district-level code entry before the indicator can be configured. There is no automatic resolution from the Teacher (TCH) table. Why this matters:
STU.CU is populated dynamically from TCH in all other areas of Aeries, so districts do not expect to need a separate…3 votes -
Update Income Survey with 26-27 Income Rates
I realize this is partly dependent upon the release of federal income guidelines (https://www.fns.usda.gov/schoolmeals/income-eligibility-guidelines), but as soon as those income guidelines are created, having someone from the Aeries team create the alternative would be amazing. Minimizing any time between when guidelines are released and the alternative income survey is completed by Aeries will be super helpful for 26-27 enrollment (as we start enrollment for 26-27 once the alternative income survey is available).

School of Choice - Not all fields displaying in Read Mode
When viewing a School of Choice Request in read mode, the New/Renewal field (SCR.ITN) or Current District of Residence do not display even when a value has been saved. The field only appears while the record is in edit mode, making it impossible to verify the data without editing the record.

Assertive Discipline
When creating an Assertive Discipline entry, there are some fields that our District has deemed as REQUIRED fields for an Administrator to fill in. For example: When a weapon is involved in an incident, the type of weapon is tagged as a REQUIRED field to be indicated in the Assertive Discipline entry. Unfortunately, Aeries will allow the user to finalize the entry without filling in one or more of the required fields, and then a DVS Error is generated, due to the fact that one or more REQUIRED field(s) were not filled in, after the fact.

Academic Plan Report - One-Pager
I was so excited to learn that the Academic Plan was printable. However, it is not great. For a senior, it prints out 5+ pages. Please continue to work on this so that the plan can be printed on one page.

close homeless records
Auto close homeless programs when a student exits. With the new requirement to have homeless records needing to be closed each year, can Aeries auto close a homeless records when a student exits with their exit date? If we set all homeless records to close on the last day of school, but a student leaves prior to the last day it will cause an error.

Analytics (LCAP Dashboard): Support new SBAC/CAST Achievement Level Descriptors for 25/26+ without altering prior-year labels
In Aeries Analytics (LCAP Dashboard), SBAC charts currently display legacy achievement level wording (Exceeded/Met/Nearly Met/Not Met). With CDE changing the terminology for 25/26+ results to Advanced/Proficient/Developing/Minimal, Aeries should update Analytics so the displayed descriptors match the correct testing administration year.
To avoid confusing or misrepresenting historical data, Analytics should support year-aware descriptors (e.g., legacy descriptors for prior-year administrations and new descriptors for 25/26+). This may require introducing a new or versioned Analytics metric/label layout for 25/26+ while keeping the existing one for historical reporting.
Why this matters
Districts want Analytics wording to mirror official SSR verbiage and avoid retroactively relabeling…4 votes -
Query: Support District-Level LIST Queries with Multiple Extended/Calculated Fields
What is happening now
When a district-level LIST query includes multiple extended/calculated fields (such as ATTPERC, DISADVANTAGED, SPECIALED, 504PLAN, TITLE1CMIGRANT, HOMELESSPRG, and FOSTER_PRG), the results window opens but never populates. The same query runs successfully at the school level and when limited to a single school. Why this matters
Districts need to identify students who qualify across multiple program areas in a single district-wide pull. The current behavior requires running separate queries per school and manually consolidating results, which is not practical at scale.Impact if unchanged
Districts with large student populations cannot use Query to…2 votes -
Online Enrollment - TX Home Language Survey - Allow multiple language selections per question
Based on the June 2025 version of the TEA Home Language Survey, please update the first 3 language fields so that the parent can select multiple languages per question. On the import side, allow the staff members to narrow down the multiple languages submitted by the parent to a single language to be imported. Additionally, update the Language Information preview to display all of the questions, and ensure that the Home Language Survey report in Aeries is updated to reflect June 2025.

Implement Warning System for 504 Plans with Same-Day Start and End Dates
Description of Issue:
Currently, Aeries allows users to create and save a 504 record with the same start and end date. While this may not trigger any errors in Aeries, it creates downstream problems in CALPADS, as those records will not post successfully. This leaves users unaware of an issue until after the CALPADS submission fails, causing delays, confusion, and extra troubleshooting.Proposed Solution:
Implement a warning/error system within Aeries that prevents saving a 504 plan if the start and end date are the same. Ideally:A hard stop error would prevent saving the record until corrected.
Alternatively, a soft…

Update teacher display in Gradebook to clearly delineate which students are physically present in class
All absences, except one type, definitely show up in the gradebook as a small marker in the corner of the box that the assignment grade is in. Pre-arranged absences do NOT show up on the gradebook page in any way, shape or form. This means that teachers can inadvertently give credit to a student for something like participation even though the student was absent because the absence can not be seen on the gradebook page.

Need more Indexing on the LOG table
Please consider adding more indexing to the LOG table. It would be much better to try and implement this early in the school year, before the logs grow too large.
NOTE: The original request has been modified to be a bit more generic, as we cannot commit to doing this exact solution without considering the other effects on the system. However the overal ldea is the same, to improve the functioning of the log table to allow better searching of the results.

Please consider adding an index to the LOG table for the OB column.Your article on…

Weekly Progress Emails — Add Option to Exclude Inactive Sections
What is happening now:
When a district deactivates a section mid-year, students linked to gradebooks tied to that section stop receiving all weekly progress report emails — including for their active courses. The email process does not check section status in MST or the student's current CAR records, and fails when it cannot retrieve Flex Period Start/End times for an inactive section. The only fix today requires a direct SQL update to the GBU table, which has no UI edit path. Why this matters:
Parents receive progress emails for one child but not another with no explanation. Districts with 100+…2 votes -
Remove MFA When Switching Between Years
Now that we have enabled MFA for our district, it would be nice if we did not have to reauthenticate every time we switch between years. We have already MFA'd in to login to Aeries, but then it asks us to MFA again every time we go to a different school year. If this could be a separate MFA setting that could be separated out from the login MFA, that would be helpful too.

Report for counts of how many completed PDC
My Superintendent asks for daily updates on how many students have / have not completed the data confirmation process. It is cumbersome to have to run this report by site (I see there is an idea to have it ran district wide), but if there was a report that would just have total counts like students enrolled, PDC completed, PDC not completed, this would save us so much time every day.

Supplemental Attendance Report - Add Footer option
Requesting the ability to add a custom footer to the Supplemental Attendance Report. This would be configurable to each district based on their needs. Below is an example of how a district might choose to use it.
Original Request:
The Minutes report under Supplemental Attendance Report: We use supplemental attendance for attendance recovery. The state is currently auditing us. We have a request from the state auditor if we could also include the wording at the footer: “I, (teacher name), attest that the students were provided with content aligned to grade-level standards that is substantially equivalent to in-person instruction.” Would…1 vote -
Show API Status for CERS Student Group Extract Files
In the CERS Student Group Extract view, please add API status indicators so users can quickly tell whether a file was intended to post to the API and whether that post was successful. In addition to the existing record count, adding columns such as API Enabled and API Success would allow customers to validate scheduled vs. manual processes at a glance, reduce confusion during troubleshooting, and minimize the need to look in SQL for confirmation. Aligns UI visibility with data already stored in the system (FLI)

Red Flags on Gradebook/Rosters/Attendance/Seating chart
If a student has a flag it should show up for the most important end user - the teacher! They are NOT spending their day clicking into demographics for every student. EVEN if its just an icon SHOWING they have a red flag. Especially useful when we have subs as well who wouldn't know about custody issues or an IEP or a medical issue. The data exists, we just need to use in a meaningful way.
