Edit the "Has this student previously attended a public school in California?" so that parents are aware Headstart and PreK not included
During the Language questionnaire portion of Online Enrollment, we noticed that parents of TK/K students would answer yes to "Has this student previously attended a public school in California" because the student attended HeadStart or PreK. That means they are not filling out the HLS and now we have to reach out to get them to fill it out. We could turn the feature off as a district, but we were hoping to utilize it for all other grade levels.
Either the question can be adjusted to include a disclaimer, or perhaps have the feature where it can be turned…

Student Tardy Slip
It would be nice if there were a button for tardy slips much like the Readmit Slip. It could print the student name, date and time and print 2 copies; one for the office and one for the student.

Add a 'Create a Copy' action to top of 504 page
The 'Create a Copy' action needs to be more obvious on the 504 page and not hidden under 'More actions' in the lower right corner. Staff would be more likely to copy a current 504 plan rather than overwriting existing plan dates.

Transcripts Do Not Print When Cohort Does Not Have a Primary GPA
As of the 12/21/2023 update single-column transcripts will not print from the Transcripts page or from View All Reports when the Transcript Definition > GPA Options > Print Which Term GPA is set to "Applicable Primary District GPA" and the student's cohort does not have a Primary GPA set up in GPA Configurations.

Transcripts - Edit all records in one term at the same time
Open a term and be able to edit all transcript marks, schools, etc at one time instead of manually opening each transcript record individually.

Students Absent or Tardy Today and Inactive Students
Students Absent or Tardy Today report does not show students who are currently Inactive but were enrolled on the date the report is being run for. Students Absent or Tardy Today report should be enhanced to honor Attendance Enrollment and Course Attendance.

CRDC Extract - Refine 0s and Blanks Fill Logic for Various Elements
Refine logic for CRDC extract with regard to filling fields with either 0's or blanks.
For example, if there are any Preschool student counts, then the fields for Preschool EL counts, Preschool Student in EL Programs, Preschool IDEA, Preschool 504 counts should be filled with 0's rather than blanks when there are no Preschool students in these counts.2 votes -
Attendance Audit Report should consider attendance enrollment to flag student not of age
The audit attendance report in Aeries should flag errors if a student is not of age. This verification should not solely rely on demographic data but should also consider attendance enrollment to detect instances where a student was underage at the beginning of the school year. If the student doesn’t meet the minimum age requirement in a specific grade, it should be reflected on the attendance audit list. This is crucial to our district as it will minimize attendance errors and avoid claiming ADA for a student is not eligible.

CDE requires we break down the seals earned by our students by language qualified in. It would be really helpful if column 3(demonstrating proficiency) of the SSB report would indicate the language courses/test to qualify the student.5 votes -

Online Enrollment - Pop-up Window for pre-enrollment
Can a pop-up window be configured to show up when pre-enrollment is open and a parent chooses to enroll or pre-enroll their child? The window would say something along the lines of "You have selected to enroll your student for the current school year. Is this correct?" and "You have selected to enroll your student for next school year. Is this correct?"

A gradebook shouldn't have to have an assignment in order for it to be copied in the Mass Copy Gradebooks feature.

Attendance Letters - Change Default Letter Delivery Type
Suggest that Digital not be the first or default choice for the delivery type for attendance letters. If you mistakenly forget to change the type or are running a test and do not change it, the letter will be sent out. Putting Do Not Send as the default seems the safest choice.
