Student Room/Section Listing - Add Course Option
The student room/section listing report shows 1 student per row, and then all the rooms or section numbers horizontally across that row. We need a report that will show all the course numbers horizontally across that row, or the course names. Also when run by Section option the attendance period is not on the report.
Please create the same type of report, but instead of the room number or section number, please add a radio button to request that it run the course number and/or course title.4 votes -

When creating Google accounts, add additional templates to the Student User Name Pattern sections or allow additional modifiers (in addition to the current LEFT and RIGHT string functions.
As the K-6 feeder districts we utilize the 6th grade promotion year as part of their email addresses. and that's the one component that is holding us back from turning on the integration.
Having something like [promotion-year] which could be tied to a school's High Grade, or the being able to do something like "[graduation-year] - 6" would be great.4 votes -

There's a whole lot of scrolling to search for the field that has the cohort. Can we add a filter to navigate to the field that's being used?

Summons Call Slip - Ability to Sort by Period and Teacher
When printing summons call slips from the Summons Report, I would like the option of sorting the call slips by period and teacher. Ask what period I want to filter on and then sort for the teacher on that period, so the call slips are grouped by the teacher within that period so delivery is simplified - just like we do with Locator Cards. This should be considered for Flex and non Flex schools.

Attach files to report card comments
It would be useful if teachers were able to attach files (such as a progress summary export from student software) to report cards, in addition to the existing comments they can input, for parents to access when viewing the report card through the parent portal.

Allow teachers to View or download Documents from Other Teachers' Gradebooks
Allow teachers to view or download documents that are attached to assignments in other teachers' gradebooks. Currently the download icon displays on the gradebook details page for other teachers, but when it's clicked the document does not download.

Provide Visual Feedback when Entering Attendance and No Response is Received from the Server
With many staff and teachers working remotely with varying internet providers and networking equipment, it is not uncommon for a staff member or teacher's internet to lose connection for a few moments.
When entering attendance, if the internet connection is lost it may go unnoticed leaving blank records on your attendance page. The current visual feedback is small in the upper-right hand corner but shows nothing if there is no response from the server. When entering several records it could easily go unnoticed if one or more of the records were not received by the server due to several notices…

Would like the Teacher App to be compatible on a Chromebook device. Currently, when searching for Districts, which uses GPS, it gets stuck searching and continuously spins.

Allow Student Groups to be shared to Security Groups
Where there is an option to share a Student Group to a specific user in STF, allow sharing to a security group.

Data Confirmation - Maintain medical history log of comment changes
During Data Confirmation, parents can only update the Medical History "parent comment". This does not allow for preservation of the previous parent comment––but overwrites it. Which is fine if your school does Data Confirmation AFTER the New Year Rollover, but we do do pre-rollover Data Confirmation and this overwrites our current year's parent comment field. Ideally, we would prefer to keep a running history of those comments/updates within the active year database.

Sign/certify binaries for Aeries updates in addition to existing password protection.

Teacher Portal - New Attendance Report with Selectable Date-Range
Teachers should be able to select a date range to look at attendance metrics for a student. This is very helpful for teachers working with students who have attendance goals.
We need to see how many full days absent in total, how many period absences in total, how many period lates in total total, how many period tardies in total, how many period truancies in total and overall attendance rate for a specified time period. We should be able to print out this date range information in a format that is understandable to parents and other adults in English and/or…
