  1. Transcript Indicators Codes on the Transcript Page

    Currently Transcript Indicator codes on the Transcript page only display to Aeries users with Admin accounts. User accounts require Read permissions to the following tables: CRS, HIS and XRF. The logic should be changed so that only Read permission to HIS is required.

  2. Teacher attendance by month dropdown for Alternate Ed Schools

    Please add a dropdown option with the complete/incomplete options in the monthly attendance for the alt ed schools. The way that it is now, it is not user friendly due to the way that that type of school see's its students and does it's accounting.

  3. Center the View MST Button on the Classes Edit View

    With the ability to create multiple periods in Flex, the View MST button is on the far right and requires scrolling if there are lots of periods. Please consider moving it to the center.

  4. Attendance notifications for past days

    We would like the ability to send out attendance notifications based on past days as well. We send out a follow up call for high school students whose absences still haven't been excused, but Aeries doesn't give us that option as it only looks at the codes for the day of. This is for Aeries Communications powered by ParentSquare.

    We would like to be able to select all data validation results for a specific validation and export them to Excel, CSV, PDF, etc.

  6. Add Section and Staff ID to the Course History Transcripts page for Mass Add Records

    We always use the "Mass Add Records" on the transcript screen, but now find we need the "Section" and "Staff ID" fields that are only available when you use "Add 1 Record" choice. Currently we have to go back into each line on the transcript to add the information to these fields. It is very time consuming.

  8. Monthly Attendance Summary Totals Report Rounds Down

    In certain instances, when running any of the Monthly Attendance Summary Totals reports for only one month instead of multiple months, the report can potentially round down the cumulative total by 1 cent.

  9. Class Calendars: reduce permissions needed for Push and Copy (currently only Admins)

    On the Class Calendars page, an Admin user can Copy Class Calendars within a school or Push Class Calendars to other schools. Please change these permissions so that Copy and Push can be done by a User who is not an Admin.

    At times it felt like we were all over the place to complete not only the pre - rollover but also the rollover and the New School Year set up. In the Post rollover I found several comparison charts that helps to confirm the information was rolled correctly or to help find my errors such as the following;

    Table Record Counts
    Active Student By Grade
    Summary of Students

    Also there are several steps to starting the new year that could be added to a dashboard such as Calendar, Terms, Grading Periods, User, Staff…

  11. Alternate course options in the individualized academic plan

    Please create option for alternate course requests to be inputted in the Individualized Academic Plan. When courses roll into course requests from academic plan, you still have to go into course requests and get alternates from students. Right now it is only available in course requests. It could be more user friendly and having that feature in academic plan would be so helpful!

  12. Permission start and stop dates/date range

    Would like to add non-year specific dates in permissions to allow and remove access to specific permissions.

    Example: User needs to run a change command once a year between June and July but shouldn't run at any other time.

    Would like to be able to set the permission to turn on the 2nd week of every June and close the 3rd week of every July.

    Attendance Submission Log and Missing Attendance reports only allow a user to select Tracks A-F or All Tracks. Please enhance this filter to include all Tracks as defined in School Options and the Code Table.

  15. Portal Document Groups under Update Code Table DCV.FG

    When creating Portal Document Groups under Update Code Table DCV.FG for the Code you can put in more than 3 characters, however, if you have more than 3 characters the documents will not save under the created Portal Document Group. You are able to move a document and it will show under the Portal Group name, however, once you refresh or navigate away and come back the document would go back to the top where it was. You should not be able to put in more than 3 characters if it will not work if you have more than 3…

  18. Add a "pending enrollment" status that does not generate an error message

    Our centralized enrollment team wants to be able to track our new enrollments in Aeries that are still pending as they wait for required enrollment items, such as, Proof of Residency, residency verification, etc. Our LEA decided to add this option to the dropdown in the STU.TG (record status field), with the code of “P” and the descriptor of "Pending DSC Approval". This allows our Centralized Enrollment team to easily generate queries specific to these records and is also a way for our attendance and counseling staff at the school sites to be aware that the enrollment is in process,…

  19. Aeries Financials to add a Fee Cancel Option

    something similar to what Balance Adjustment does within adding a Payment, but called "Fee Cancelled" and is built-in similar to Balance Adjustment so users don't need to add manual codes for it.
    This would prevent it from showing as a separate payment record within reports and the UI, however allows users to keep a record of "this student was expected to pay this amount, but then we decided it was cancelled"

  20. Remove the N/A's that clutter the screen when information is hidden from the users

    Just wanted to share a random thought about something I encountered yesterday. The screen below is from the parent portal. My understanding of N/A is "not applicable" which usually means "doesn't apply to me". When we build reporting or screens for a user, we leave areas blank if they are not allowed to see it....or don't show the field at all. On this screen, it seems like it is being used to indicate fields that the user is not able to see. A user has to look past/through all of the N/A's to find the relevant information. It would be…
