Analytics Field Value Indicator — Automatically Populate Threshold Options for School-Based Fields Such as STU.CU
What is happening now:
The Field Value Analytics Indicator type requires threshold values to be manually added to the Update Code Table (Table/Field at School = 0) before they appear in the threshold dropdown. For fields like STU.CU (Counselor Number), which reference school-based teacher numbers (TCH.TN), this means districts must manually enter each teacher number as a district-level code entry before the indicator can be configured. There is no automatic resolution from the Teacher (TCH) table.Why this matters:

Would like query to output name description for STU.ITD residence district instead of code
Would like query to output name description for STU.ITD residence district instead of code. ie 49709610000000 to Twin Hills Union School District. The STU.IT field already does this when adding ? to the end of the field STU.IT? STU.ITD should operate the same way.

Add Static Instructional Notes with Hyperlinks to Custom Table Pages
Custom Table Fields currently only support Text, DropDown, Date, Time, Memo, Number, Boolean, Phone, and blank line separators. There's no way to add static, read-only instructional text to a Custom Table page to guide staff filling out the form.
Requested functionality: a new field type that displays static text with support for a basic hyperlink, not tied to an editable column — so districts can point staff to an external reference or guidance document relevant to that section of the form.

Add a "show inactives" on the SCHOOL ACCESS Security page and only actives as the default
The SCHOOL Access security page is TOO wide and unmanageable. Please make ACTIVE schools the default (and add a check box to show inactives if needed)!

Keep Most Recent GPA and Class Rank
During the New Year Rollover, bring forward the most recently calculated GPA and Class Rank for students with records at multiple schools, regardless of the school in which they will be enrolled in the new year.

Update Income Survey with 26-27 Income Rates
I realize this is partly dependent upon the release of federal income guidelines (https://www.fns.usda.gov/schoolmeals/income-eligibility-guidelines), but as soon as those income guidelines are created, having someone from the Aeries team create the alternative would be amazing. Minimizing any time between when guidelines are released and the alternative income survey is completed by Aeries will be super helpful for 26-27 enrollment (as we start enrollment for 26-27 once the alternative income survey is available).

Seating Chart Print out inaccurate
The issue is that if a teacher moves a student after creating the chart, it does not save the change, and when they print, the seating chart prints the default one, not the new one. There is no way to adjust the seating after you make the chart. It will automatically print the old version.

School of Choice - Not all fields displaying in Read Mode
When viewing a School of Choice Request in read mode, the New/Renewal field (SCR.ITN) or Current District of Residence do not display even when a value has been saved. The field only appears while the record is in edit mode, making it impossible to verify the data without editing the record.

Sidebar Favorites as landing page
Please add a user-level preference that allows Aeries users to select Favorites as their default navigation view. Before the July 17, 2026 multi-tab browser update, Aeries retained the Favorites navigation state between sessions.
Aeries now opens to Pages after every login, with no available setting to change it. Frequent users who work primarily from Favorites must manually switch views each time they sign in. Ideally, Aeries should either remember the user’s last selected navigation section or allow the user to choose a default such as Favorites or Pages, while preserving the corrected multi-tab functionality.

Assertive Discipline
When creating an Assertive Discipline entry, there are some fields that our District has deemed as REQUIRED fields for an Administrator to fill in. For example: When a weapon is involved in an incident, the type of weapon is tagged as a REQUIRED field to be indicated in the Assertive Discipline entry. Unfortunately, Aeries will allow the user to finalize the entry without filling in one or more of the required fields, and then a DVS Error is generated, due to the fact that one or more REQUIRED field(s) were not filled in, after the fact.

Implement Warning System for 504 Plans with Same-Day Start and End Dates
Description of Issue:
Currently, Aeries allows users to create and save a 504 record with the same start and end date. While this may not trigger any errors in Aeries, it creates downstream problems in CALPADS, as those records will not post successfully. This leaves users unaware of an issue until after the CALPADS submission fails, causing delays, confusion, and extra troubleshooting.Proposed Solution:
Implement a warning/error system within Aeries that prevents saving a 504 plan if the start and end date are the same. Ideally:A hard stop error would prevent saving the record until corrected.

Academic Plan Report - One-Pager
I was so excited to learn that the Academic Plan was printable. However, it is not great. For a senior, it prints out 5+ pages. Please continue to work on this so that the plan can be printed on one page.

close homeless records
Auto close homeless programs when a student exits. With the new requirement to have homeless records needing to be closed each year, can Aeries auto close a homeless records when a student exits with their exit date? If we set all homeless records to close on the last day of school, but a student leaves prior to the last day it will cause an error.

Data Confirmation Report Format
Realign the Data Confirmation Status Report columns to match the order parents follow when completing data confirmation. The report lists Authorizations first even though that is one of the last items parents fill out. Our offices would like a clearer picture of where families are getting held up in the data confirmation process.

Report for counts of how many completed PDC
My Superintendent asks for daily updates on how many students have / have not completed the data confirmation process. It is cumbersome to have to run this report by site (I see there is an idea to have it ran district wide), but if there was a report that would just have total counts like students enrolled, PDC completed, PDC not completed, this would save us so much time every day.

Analytics (LCAP Dashboard): Support new SBAC/CAST Achievement Level Descriptors for 25/26+ without altering prior-year labels
In Aeries Analytics (LCAP Dashboard), SBAC charts currently display legacy achievement level wording (Exceeded/Met/Nearly Met/Not Met). With CDE changing the terminology for 25/26+ results to Advanced/Proficient/Developing/Minimal, Aeries should update Analytics so the displayed descriptors match the correct testing administration year.
To avoid confusing or misrepresenting historical data, Analytics should support year-aware descriptors (e.g., legacy descriptors for prior-year administrations and new descriptors for 25/26+). This may require introducing a new or versioned Analytics metric/label layout for 25/26+ while keeping the existing one for historical reporting.
Why this matters

Autosave Medical Log
Our health offices would like for Medical Log records to save automatically rather than having to click the Save icon each time. There are a lot of subs in the health offices and they often forget to click Save after adding their records, so then all their entries are lost for the day and have to be re-entered.

Online Enrollment - TX Home Language Survey - Allow multiple language selections per question
Based on the June 2025 version of the TEA Home Language Survey, please update the first 3 language fields so that the parent can select multiple languages per question. On the import side, allow the staff members to narrow down the multiple languages submitted by the parent to a single language to be imported. Additionally, update the Language Information preview to display all of the questions, and ensure that the Home Language Survey report in Aeries is updated to reflect June 2025.

Add ability to copy attendance notes
Our attendance clerks would like to be able to copy an attendance note from one student and paste it to another student. We often have families with multiple children who all need the same attendance note (ex. family emergency, funeral, independent study, etc.) and this would save our clerks time.

MFA Needs Option to "Remember This Device" for at least One Day
MFA Needs Option to "Remember This Device" for at least One Day. I have MFA on Canvas, CalPads, and Google due to Admin level access. MFA on all of those is SO MUCH BETTER than on Aeries because it doesn't require you to complete the MFA verification a hundred times every day on the same computer as Aeries does. There should be an option to "Remember This Device" on MFA for at least 12 hours so that you only have to use MFA once a day instead literally dozens of times.
