Elementary SBG Process Dashboard: Rename "Create/Update SBG for One Student" link to "Selected Students"
On the Elementary Standards Based Grades Process Dashboard, under B. Initialize, update Step 2 from "Create/Update SBG for One Student" to "Create/Update SBG For Selected Students."
The current label does not match the page that opens or the corresponding Functions menu option. Updating the wording would provide consistent terminology throughout Aeries and make it clearer that this process can be used for selected students, rather than only one student.

Improve NSLP import process
The NSLP import process needs to be reviewed and corrected. Currently, it ignores records where fre.src = PDC, resulting in multiple open and overlapping active records with the same or conflicting eligibility statuses.
The process also needs an option to exclude certain records or establish an eligibility priority, similar to Direct Certification, where F (Free) takes priority over R (Reduced), followed by P (Paid).
In its current state, the NSLP import process is unusable. It creates additional work by generating overlapping records and closing existing Direct Certification records when new records are imported. These issues need to be addressed before…

User Font Preference Setting for Accessibility and Readability
Aeries displays all text in a single fixed font, and users have no way to adjust the typeface to suit their visual needs. Staff and parents with vision impairments, dyslexia, or general readability difficulties rely on browser or operating system workarounds that are inconsistent and often not available on managed district devices. Aeries needs a user preference setting that allows each user to select a display font from a curated list of open source fonts designed for legibility, such as Atkinson Hyperlegible, which was engineered specifically for readers with low vision. Add Permissions to new SPED Video Camera Requests page
Currently only ADMIN users may access to the SPED Video Camera Requests page. Add a new permission so districts are able to grant access to users or groups to Read, insert, Update, and Delete records on this page.

Automatic Import of Test Results
Add functionality to automatically import test scores, similar to the Special Education and NSLP import processes, based on layout definitions, eliminating the need for users to import test scores manually.

Sidebar Favorites as landing page
Please add a user-level preference that allows Aeries users to select Favorites as their default navigation view. Before the July 17, 2026 multi-tab browser update, Aeries retained the Favorites navigation state between sessions.
Aeries now opens to Pages after every login, with no available setting to change it. Frequent users who work primarily from Favorites must manually switch views each time they sign in. Ideally, Aeries should either remember the user’s last selected navigation section or allow the user to choose a default such as Favorites or Pages, while preserving the corrected multi-tab functionality.

Next Year Calendar/Terms
Add a "Push to Other Schools" feature to the Next Year Terms page like the Next Year Calendar page has. And add the NDY and NTM tables to the "Push and Pull Setup Tables" page.

Create a backup of student records before merges performed through OE Import or Combine Student Records and allow users to restore from the backup.

Function Copy ELPAC Scores to LAC Not working properly
All test scores are not being populated correctly. After running the function only DATE and NAME are being populated on the General TAB of the LAC screen. Only recently this has stopped working.

Standards Based Grades Process Dashboard Valid Marks link should open the Standards Based Valid Marks
On the Elementary Standards Based Grades Process Dashboard, step 6 under Setup / Config, "Valid Marks and GPA Computation Rules," opens the Valid Marks page used for traditional Grade Reporting instead of the valid marks used for Standards Based Grades. Those marks are maintained on Standards Based Options under the Valid Marks tab. Users who follow the dashboard to set up Standards Based Grading are sent to edit marks that don't affect standards based report cards, which can cause confusion and setup errors. Security - User Accounts - add the option to enter start and end dates for each school when assigning schools for Users
Often times, we have Users that fill in at other sites (clerical office staff, Health Techs, etc.) and need access to that school for a few weeks. It would be very helpful to be able to enter a start and end date in School Access for the period of time staff members can have access to that school rather than having to try and remember when to open and close the access.

Add an audit/report to identify overlapping primary teacher assignments.
Overlapping primary teacher assignments can lead to errors in Aeries. Currently, there is no way to identify these issues through the UI. Add a report or audit check that flags sections with overlapping primary teacher assignments.

MFA Needs Option to "Remember This Device" for at least One Day
MFA Needs Option to "Remember This Device" for at least One Day. I have MFA on Canvas, CalPads, and Google due to Admin level access. MFA on all of those is SO MUCH BETTER than on Aeries because it doesn't require you to complete the MFA verification a hundred times every day on the same computer as Aeries does. There should be an option to "Remember This Device" on MFA for at least 12 hours so that you only have to use MFA once a day instead literally dozens of times.

Transcript Consistency Across School Years
Currently, after a rollover, if a course completed in a prior school year needs to be added or corrected on a student's transcript, the course information must often be updated in two separate environments: the current year database for transcript purposes and the prior year database for PEIMS reporting purposes.
This duplicate data entry process increases the risk of inconsistencies and requires significant additional effort to maintain accurate records.
