2-Mark Standards Based Grade Report Card
Allow for a 2-mark Standards Based Grade (SBG) report card. Currently the report card formats are fixed to either 3 or 4 marks. This does not accommodate elementary schools who are semester based, or issue grades only two times per year.

Undo mass add portal accounts
We would like to be able to quickly undo a mass add of portal accounts. Ex. Not using a KEEP statement can cause unintended data corruption. We would like an easy way to quickly revert rather than going through Aeries Support or doing a manual backup.

Change the wording of LCAP dashboard title from "Special Ed Students" to "Students with Disabilities"
Using People First language helps to describe the students as people first instead of a characterization always associated their disability.

Ignore Required Fields for Specific Schools
For schools that don't represent actively enrolled students (such as a Transfer School), allow a flag to turn off Required Fields so that minimal information is allowed to be added and updated for those student records.

Appointment Scheduler
We need an appointment schedule system similar to built in-to https://easyappointments.org/
This can be used for asset distribution to limit the number of staff / students / parents to stop by the office.
After COVID, we can use this with Counselors and other appointment-based programs.

Include Parent Email email address(es) from CON table on synchronizing Google Classroom and Aeries
If a teacher in a google classroom which is already synchronized with their Aeries class wants to communicate with parents, then the teacher needs to invite parents in google classroom.
Now, any of parent email addresses is not included during sync., the teacher needs to enter each student's parent email manually.
Can you include email address(es) in CON table records during class roster sync. of each student? Thanks.

Mass Check Out Assets
Is there any way to mass check out items in Aeries. Out district is going to be sending iPads home to students during this quarantine. Instead of checking them out 1 by 1 by going to the student and check out item can I upload a spreadsheet? In this spreadsheet it can show asset barcode and perm id of student then upload this to show its checked out to them? I'm not sure if this is possible but worth a shot instead of going 1 by 1.

Allow "Next School" to determine course request offerings.
Currently, course request offerings are determined by the student's current school. This does not work well in cases where the students are moving across a school grade level boundary. In casess where there is not a 1:1 relationship between feeder schools and next schools, students have to use generic course requests, if they can use them at all.

Store Total Community Service Hours from Multiple Activities
Need the ability to total community service hours a student has completed. We have 3 ACT.CD codes that can meet this requirement.
That or the ability to query this total from transcripts.
To query and export to excel, add a formula, filter out students that have not met the minimum, copy into Word to sort, etc is a very complicated process.
There was a PR 16665 for this request.

Interventions Student Strengths Selection
Under Interventions, Student Strengths could there be checkboxes instead of the dropdown to select strengths like teacher accounts have. This would make selecting strengths easier.

Make hand scheduling easier and quicker
In CS you could quickly click on the courses in the alternate tab and view what period it is available. Now having to go to the SMS Board and filtering it either by course ID or period is so time consuming. From a schedulers point of view .net is far less efficient than it was in CS. There are several features but this one is grueling!

Standards Based Grading - New Proficiency Report
Would like to see Colors and Bar Graphs for student proficiency for each standard on a student, parent, and teacher dashboard. A better and clearer way to see how each student is doing or the class by standard.

Improve the View of Classes in Edit mode
It is so hard to see the results of the changes you have made unless you click Save. I find it really hard to read. I add a class from View MST and it puts it at the bottom of the list rather than in period order. t Then to compound the problem, on the SSS side, you can’t even click the sections. You are forced to use View MST -which actually is OK with me. I love View MST, but the fact that the two systems are now so different is confusing.

Reduce Size of DOC Table - Nightly Process / External Storage Support
Nightly process to either :
-- Compress and/or reduce the dpi of documents found in
the DOC table.-- DOC table link-able to another storage platform for cross-year storage to eliminate duplication during roll-over ( examples: Another external DB, Google Team Drive, Amazon Glacier, Share Point ).
Goals:
-- Reduce the size of the Aeries Annual DBs
-- Improve daily performance
-- Allow for better backup & retention policies. Background: In school year 2018-2019 we started using the DOC table to go 'paperless'. While this is a good
feature for our staff, it caused our DB size to balloon well…2 votes -
Allow Optional Alternate Courses
Our high schools want the Alternate Course to be an option when pre-slugged courses are perma-locked. This way parents and/or students can indicate if they want to level up or down.
