Online Enrollment > Student Import - Auto-Populate Registration Date on Status Update from Deleted to Pending (Complete)
Partial (Incomplete) records that are deleted then are switched back to Pending (Complete) status are not able to be imported due to the Registration Date being blank. Auto-populate the registration date to allow successful imports.

CAPSDAC Phase 2
On 3/6/25 CAPSDAC announced Phase 2 of their data collection, which will greatly expand the type of data collected for PreSchool students. There will be multiple new files, similar to CALPADS. We will be meeting with them to try and get the layouts once they are finalized, so we can program it into our system. Please subscribe to this idea if you wish to be informed about the progress.

CALPADS CRSE: Dual College Credit Course Extraction Logic for Fall 2 Reporting
Enhance CALPADS CRSE reporting logic for Fall 2 submissions to correctly handle Dual College Credit courses:
- For courses where Course Level = 24, if the -
College State Course Code (CRS.CC3) field is populated with a valid college state course code, extract from CRS.CC3 field and extract the course as a Dual Credit course in the CRSE file.
- For courses where Course Level = 24, if CRS.CC3 is null or not populated with a valid college state course code, use the State Course Code (CRS.C3) and extract the course as a Dual Credit Course in the CRSE file.4 votes -
CALPADS SENR - Allow Short Term enrollment records to extract with completion status codes
The SENR extract fails to include the Completion Status Code even though it is populated in Aeries. This causes an error in CALPADS: SENR0029 – Missing Completion Status. Adjust the CALPADS SENR logic to include completion status codes from STU.HSG, Graduation Exemption Indicator STU.GEX and Date Graduated STU.DG when the student's enrollment status is 30-Short Term and the fields are populated.

TX Final Year Mark: Enhance Final Grade Calculation for Year Long Courses with the Same Service ID for Multiple Courses
When calculating average marks, the system currently only considers one prior and one current GRD record per Service ID. It does not account for scenarios where multiple GRD records exist for the same Service ID—either multiple current or multiple past marks—potentially leading to inaccurate grade averaging. Academic Plan Mass Import needs to replace any current entries
There is already request to create a MASS IMPORT feature. However, please make sure that the MASS IMPORT feature allows to override any entry already made.

Requesting Date Fields in HIS for Hand Entered Courses on the Transcript
For state reporting, districts are required to report all high school credit courses completed during the current school year in the PEIMS Summer submission. When students complete high school credit courses outside of the regular school day schedule or virtually/online, the completed course information is manually entered to the transcript - there is no course section in the master schedule associated to the completed course. This in turn causes an issue for state reporting as there is no means to indicate the Begin Date indicating when the student began the course, only a Date Completed is available to indicate when…

Clarifies that LEAs providing traditional independent study must document time value in hours or fraction of an hour for both work products and time spent in computer-based programs (Education Code (EC) Section 51747.5(b)(2)(A)(ii)).
The documentation of time value in increments of an hour or fraction of an hour must occur before converting the associated time to a day of average daily attendance (ADA) but is not required to be done on an hour-by-hour basis.

As soon as we have all the information they intend to collect, and what the draft audit guidelines are, we can begin development on what changes we need to make for the upcoming school year, to be sure our customers can track the information needed for this reporting.

Implement Warning System for 504 Plans with Same-Day Start and End Dates
Description of Issue:
Currently, Aeries allows users to create and save a 504 record with the same start and end date. While this may not trigger any errors in Aeries, it creates downstream problems in CALPADS, as those records will not post successfully. This leaves users unaware of an issue until after the CALPADS submission fails, causing delays, confusion, and extra troubleshooting.Proposed Solution:
Implement a warning/error system within Aeries that prevents saving a 504 plan if the start and end date are the same. Ideally:A hard stop error would prevent saving the record until corrected.

High Quality CTE Course Indicator for virtual college courses
In the CALPADS EOY CRSC extract files, college courses (Course Level = 23 or 24) that are assigned a CTE state course code (7000-8999) require a high Quality CTE Course Indicator. The 9.36 field should populate with a Y to indicate the course and teacher meet the High Quality CTE Course qualifications when the college CTE course is virtualized and no section or section school is assigned.

Multiple report card types
We need a way to use multiple templates / report card types for our DLI schools. Not being able to use two report card types at the same time anymore has severely impacted our grading timelines and teacher workload.

Create a district wide option for supplemental attendance so that we can capture EXLP off site 3rd party attendance.
Allow us to enter students from across the district that participate in offsite expanded learning programs. Additionally, allow us to enroll students from other schools in a site's summer program. Expanded Learning programs allow sites to enroll students from outside the school as long as they are district students. We can not enroll students in the supplemental attendance if they are not enrolled in the school.

Academic Plan Report - One-Pager
I was so excited to learn that the Academic Plan was printable. However, it is not great. For a senior, it prints out 5+ pages. Please continue to work on this so that the plan can be printed on one page.

Ed Fi Sync Null Errors - Add more details
Provide more details on which student is generating the error with a null value. The error message 'Value cannot be null' is not very descriptive when troubleshooting the error.

Add Terms to GRADES Page
Please add terms to the "GRADES" page similar to how they appear in "CLASSES". It is difficult to tell which courses belong to which term in "GRADES" when the course numbers and teachers are the same.
