CALPADS SENR Extract 2026-27 Exit Reasons T166 / T169 Add Expected Receiver School (field 1.28)
CALPADS added two new exit reason codes for 2026-27 - T166 (TransAltEdPrgmDisc) and T169 (TransOtherDiscRsns). Include the Next School / Expected Receiver School of Attendance (SENR field 1.28, from ATT.NS) in the SENR extract, as is done today for T160 and T165.

Have Attendance Recovery Bank (ARB) Results Available At Summer Schools
Currently, summer schools with the DNR flag enabled in School Options do not display any student results on the Attendance Recovery Bank page.
We would like to have these results appear for our summer sites without having to uncheck the DNR box in school options. Ideally, we would like to see the results of the Attendance Recovery Bank for our summer students without the risk of an unintentional upload to CALPADS.

Include College Credit Only courses (Course Level 23) in the CCI College Credit measure
The College/Career Indicator (CCI) College Credit measure currently counts only Dual Credit courses (Course Level 24) and does not count College Credit Only courses (Course Level 23), so students who complete College Credit Only coursework are not reflected in the College Credit measure even though the 2025 CDE Dashboard Technical G

Due to licensing issues surrounding the Archive vs Suspend options in Google Workspace, we need an option to archive accounts for inactive students similar to the existing "Suspend accounts for inactive students" under the Google Apps Integration section

Texas Virtual Programs Secondary ADA Time
The secondary ADA time needs to be used to populate the All Day code in Aeries even if students are enrolled in sections during the primary ADA time.
Sections identified on the Master Schedule with a Non-Campus Based Instruction code = 12 or 13 (Indicating this is a Virtual Course) need to be excluded from the primary ADA time.4 votes -
Update TREx to meet 2026-27 Data Standards
Update Aeries to track completion or authorized opt-out of Texas’s new Direct Admissions graduation requirement for students enrolled in 2026–2027 and include the applicable information in the AAR/TREx process. TREx exports should comply with TEA’s 2027.1.0 XSD, including required data elements, codes, validation, and XML structure, so districts can generate compliant records without manual changes.

Support New 2024–2025 AP Course Pathways in CCI Student Summary
For the 2024–2025 California School Dashboard, CDE introduced new AP pathways for the College/Career Indicator (CCI), including AP course‑based and combined course/exam options. The CCI Student Summary currently evaluates AP readiness using AP exam results only. This request is to support the updated AP pathways so student CCI status is accurately reflected.

Log ANL file activity between Aeries and ParentSquare
When Attendance Notification (ANL) records are created in Aeries, implement a logging and tracking process that records each stage of the data flow—from when the file is generated and sent from Aeries, to when ParentSquare receives and processes the data. This logging would provide visibility into the full lifecycle of each notification and clearly indicate where failures occur, whether the notifications were not successfully transmitted from Aeries, not received by ParentSquare, or not sent out by ParentSquare after receipt.

Import Test Results - Update i-Ready import to support Reading Spanish Diagnostic Results Export
The Import Test Results page is currently programmed to support only the Diagnostic Results layout, which includes a single comma-separated (.csv) file for English results and another for Math results.
Please add programming support for the new Reading Spanish layout to allow importing Spanish Lexile scores for assessment of Spanish reading proficiency.
Important Note: While the current mapping similarities in the headers allow the new Reading Spanish file to post, this often results in incorrect subject associations and data inconsistencies.34 votes -

Enroll Path Record Reconciliation for Existing Aeries Students
When a parent submits an online enrollment for a student who already exists in Aeries, registrars need a way to review and reconcile the submitted data against the student’s current Aeries record. Today this requires manually updating the student record in Aeries.
This feature adds a reconciliation process that lets registrars compare Enroll Path data side by side with existing Aeries data and decide what to keep. 3rd Party System Connections: Notify Administrators That USPS Address Validation Requires a Paid Subscription
What is being requested
The info banner on the USPS Address Verification section of the 3rd Party System Connections page should be updated to notify administrators that a paid USPS subscription is required for address validation to function. The banner currently only prompts users to register for a Consumer Key without indicating that a subscription fee is involved.Why this matters

CALPADS SCSE Extract Include Students Enrolled in Itinerant and Pull-Out/Push-In Sections
Enhance the SCSE Extract to generate Student Course Section Enrollment (SCSE) records for students enrolled in sections flagged as Itinerant or Pull-Out/Push-In. Current logic suppresses these enrollments; however, updated CALPADS guidance in Flash 326 strongly encourages LEAs to report SCSE records for these course assignments.

Review SC/SN data and allow deletion of one record in Combine Student Records process
The Combine Student Records process copies and aligns data between two student records but does not remove either record. As a result, when both records exist at the same school, duplicate student records can remain for a single student ID. The process also does not evaluate or consolidate related records in SC/SN-based tables such as ATT, CAT, CAR, SEC, GBU, and GBS. Please allow the process to identify same-school records, consolidate associated SC/SN data, and provide the option to remove the duplicate record after consolidation is complete.

Align the Student Attendance Summary report for Texas with TSDS report 130-008
Texas districts use the Student Attendance Summary report to check attendance before submitting to TSDS. The category breakdowns no longer match the TSDS Student Attendance Summary report (130-008) due to changes, so districts cannot easily reconcile Aeries totals against what TEA reports back.

Changes to Calendar Made After Attendance Initialization Should Update Associated ATT and CAR Records
When calendar DAY values are modified after Attendance and Course Attendance have been initialized, corresponding ATT and CAR records should be updated to reflect those changes. Currently, users are able to bypass system warnings and proceed with Calendar changes even after attendance has been initialized for the academic year. This behavior creates inaccuracies in pre-existing attendance and course attendance data as the day number changes do not cascade to Attendance (ATT.DY) or CAR (CAR.D1 and CAR.D2), leaving the day and date mismatched.

Student Data Audit: Initial US School Enrollment Date K-12 warning should use grade level instead of student age
The Student Data Audit report returns the warning “The student initial US School Enrollment Date must be greater than 4 years from the student birth date” for students whose Student Initial US School Enrollment Date K-12 is valid for CALPADS, including transitional kindergarten students who were under 4 when they first enrolled. The audit check was based on CALPADS error SINF0059, which CDE disabled in August 2025 and replaced with SENR0733F1 (Fall 1) and SENR0733E1 (EOY 1). These errors no longer look at the student’s age.
