Attendance notes for engagement penalty
There is not a great option to identify which students are at penalty for "engagement" which we are recording in the attendance notes columns. Please consider options including how we might 1) identify that a student might be at penalty and 2) run reports to identify infractions. If you allow teachers to select a box at the top of the column to indicate that activity type was prescribed that day, an unmarked box would indicate penalty and would help be pulled into a count of non-engagement. From Trainers: With districts using Scheduling Groups and Use Codes to identify various cohorts, the Summary of Students by Teacher and Period Report needs to honor a KEEP so that the report can be used for mid year scheduling.

On the Copy Scheduling Results to SEC & MST give a more descriptive warning message. We direct them to look at School Options for terms to be added, when most of the time it is actually a SMS section that is missing a term value in SMS.SM.

Link Siblings to Asset Information
Could you add a feature, field, where you can link an asset to siblings. For example, we would like to know which students (siblings) are assigned/linked to asset Hotspot 201. Since Hotspots are assigned one per family or more than one if needed.

When schedule changes are made to IEP students, check for % of Special Day qualifying classes and update program code (STU.SP)
Students who have over 50% of classes categorized as SPED classes require a change in their Programs code for attendance apportionment. When counselors make changes, or new enrollees fall in that category, the ability to update program code and attendance enrollment would be great.
As it is now we rely on manual spot checks periodically to maintain accuracy of program codes.

Increase the Max for the Days Past Due Date To Include
Increase the Max for the Days Past Due Date To Include scores in the Google Classroom Sync. Right now the max is 21 but our teachers accept work through the end of progress period. Currently the max is 21 days and 0 equals unlimited. It would be nice to have a higher max value so we could tune it to fit our District's needs.

Making Schoology rubrics work with SBG
Many schools use Schoology now, and while Aeries allows you to grade multiple standards in one assignment with individual scores, in Schoology - you can only add one rubric per assignment and then each row gets added together. So if you have a 4pt rubric with 3 rows it will send Aeries 12 points for that assignment. This not only doesn't line up with most people's rubric configurations in Aeries but it also muddles the scores for each standard into one final score so students and teachers can't track progress on individual skills. New Parent Portal - Highlight / Contrast Pre-Enroll Records
On the new Parent / Student Portal, the student drop down does not have any contrast between Active records and Pre-Enrolled records.
Families are finding it difficult to find the 'Pre-Enrolled' record to submit future course requests.
If this could be highlight a different color and maybe some BOLD text stating Pre-Enrolled, it would help visually distinct the accounts.

Student Groups in District to honor User School Permissions
Allow Student Groups created in the District to honor user school permissions. This will allow creating a district wide group assigning multiple users to that group without creating multiple groups.
Example, create district wide pre-enrolled group, or district wide analytics group for D/F, district wide Chronically absent analytics group.9 votes -
Grade Reporting Codes and Descriptions should limit the Description characters.
Grade Report Cards - When entering Grade Reporting Codes and Descriptions, Academic Marks, the description allows you to enter many more characters than will print on report card legend.
The form should limit to the number of characters than will fit/ print on the GRD report cards.4 votes -
Populate the email address on the LostPassword page after hitting Next
When you type your email into the Lost Password page and then click Next to reset, you have to type your email in again on the next page. It would be useful for parents who are checking their email on their phone for the code but signing in on a computer or kiosk if the email was already populated in the input box.

Weekly Instructional Minutes - Please add a Mass Certify and Save button
On the new Weekly Instructional Minutes certification screen it would be great if you could add two fuctions.
Mass Check all as Full - 99.9% of the time teachers are selecting Full, so it would be great if there was a way to do that in mass. Then if a teacher needed to change one to Other, they could manually do so.
Instead of having to click the "Save and Certify" button for each section for each week, it would be nice if there was a "Save and Certify All" button that would complete all sections that were displayed, that…

Contacts - Add Volunteer Info
Volunteer data is becoming more critical to collect. We are excited to see TB/TB Expiration and Fingerprints/FP Expiration fields now in the Contacts screen.
Given this lead...we have taken it a step further to use the User Fields to expand collecting information to include identifying contact as a volunteer, DMV, Auto Insurance, Field Trip Orientation, Vehicle Registration & Driver's Licence data.
We would appreciate having date field to capture the expiration dates for Auto Insurance, Vehicle Registration & Drivers Licence fields.

Standards Based Grades - Option to Hide/Display Standards on Report Card
We are doing SBG report cards. We would like to have the option to hide any standards on the report card (M1) for any standards that do not apply to a term.

Standards Based Report Card and Teacher Name Printed
For Standards Based Grades in an Elementary with no Master Schedule, if there is a teacher change have the Standards Based Report Card look at STN.T1 instead of STU.CU so the current teacher is always printed.

Academic Plan Enhancements
Making the Academic Plan more reflective of what is on the Graduation Status page would make it a much more useful tool.
- We have students attending more than one high school concurrently (either a comprehensive and a credit recovery or a comprehensive and a virtual). We would like to be able to view a student's current and planned courses at all schools on the AP.
- It would be less confusing to show the credits completed on the AP instead of the credits needed (so it would match what is on the GS page)

Authorizations - Allow Filtering
It would be nice to allow certain authorizations to be hidden - particularly ones that we've stopped using so don't pertain to students in the current school year. Either hide automatically based on status in the Code Table, or have checkboxes to hide/grey out, with the option to "show hidden" or "side hidden" .

Teacher Attendance - Make the ALL Present button a Color
We would like Aeries to make the “All Present “ button a color so teachers would notice it needs to clicked. All were present. Thank you :)
