In Other Options in CALAPDS Extracts can we have a table or dropdown where we can select what Language Fluency (STU.LF) code(s) not to report to CALPADS? For example, we have a 'Waiting on **' code for students who are new to our district but not new to CA. This allows our ELPAC team to know they do not need to be Initially ELPAC tested and we are waiting to confirm ELAS. "Updating Student Preferred Names Without Parental Portal Visibility"
We are receiving requests from students who want their names updated without the parent's authorization. We would like to have it where we update their name with the preferred name field but not have that show on the parent portal. How do we do that?

Online Enrollment - Add page asking if student has a sibling currently enrolled as well as if the new student was previously enrolled
When parents enroll their students through AIR it would be very helpful in decreasing time on processing an enrollment if a new page was added where it would ask parents to notify us of the following by checking a box for:
- My student currently has siblings attending one of the schools in (enter your district name here) USD.
- My student previously attended one of the schools in (enter your district name here) USD.
This would also allow us to add additional questions that may come up.

Reports that are pulling Parent Names need to include the Contact table
Reports need to have the ability to produce label label names or lists based on Contact date (CON.CD) and not STU.PG. Contact tables needs to be included in any report that is searching for parent names. Label Report, Parent Listings, etc.

Assign TAs only to certain Flex Periods
When assigning Teachers' Aides (TAs), we only allow teachers to have a certain number of TAs, usually the first couple of periods.
Can Aeries give us an option to choose which periods to assign TAs to and if possible which teachers to have which periods.

Academic Plan Counseling Comment
When counselor accepts or rejects a parent- or student-requested change to student's academic plan, allow counselor to comment on the reason for the rejection. Right away, the student/family will know the rationale, which could really support peace and ongoing rapport.

Bell Schedule in the Calendar DAY, the DAY.BS column is still 0
When you apply a Bell Schedule in the Calendar DAY, the DAY.BS column is still 0, even after you apply the Bell Schedule BSD Key to a day on DAY. So the FK from BSD to DAY is SC, BS, but DAY.BS is always 0.
Adding a Bell Schedule in the Calendar DAY, I think should record the BDS.KY into DAY.BS, but DAY.BS is always blank. Ticket Reference 30852710 votes -

Gradebook Narrative Marks and Assignments
Provide the ability to recompute or reset all scores for assignments that are attached to a narrative grade set If teacher changes the score points for a assignment attached to a narrative grade set, it is likely they would want the scores recomputed using the new values but remain narrative grades. There should be a button in the "Narrative Grade" manage tab that lets them "Update All Scores". This should explain to the user that it will change all scores to have the new score value and only perform the action upon their compliance.

Allow 2 character absence codes
With all of the new absence codes we had to add for Distance Learning and now the ones we have to add for COVID related absences for P-EBT, we have run out of letters and have used almost half of the numbers and really need 2 character absence codes to be allowed in the system.

The scope of work required to allow 2-digit attendance codes, and manage the effects throughout the attendance feature will only be able to be accomplished as part of a future modernization effort for the Attendance feature.

Online Enrollment - Have Authorizations from OE answer and log for PDC AUTH questions too?
Since there is the capability to have the online enrollment process answer the Authorization questions why can that not contribute to the Data Confirmation Status report. Is does not make sense to have a parent come in to the registration dept handling all the necessary questions and paperwork to only be told that they have to go home log into the portal and complete the data confirmation. More than half the parents leave thinking they have completed the registration process and show up at the school ready to start on the first day to only be told you need to…
