Expanded Learning Opportunities (ELOP) - The ability to track and report Student registration and participation is needed for 25/26 SY
A method is needed to track the ELOP opportunities that students are registered for and participating is needed for the 25/26 school year. It will now be incorporated into the CALPADS process. The districts would benefit tremendously from having this. I know in California we need it! It will help with reporting state information to see and compare how it relates to the funding we receive.

We are finalizing our development plans for this feature and will be starting development soon. A more detailed update has been posted in the Known Issues area: Attendance Recovery (AR) & Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELOP)

When will Aeries share an update to all CA clients about the timing of when this feature will be live?

Thanks to CALPADS, being able to track registration and attendance for ELOP programs will now be state mandated starting in 2025-26. We need the ability to do this in Aeries.

Thank you so much for the status update as we all wait patiently to learn how to navigate through this together.

If the reporting period is 7/1 - 6/30, how will this affect the Calendar if ELOP is offered during Summer School for both 2025 and 2026?

We have ELOP over the summer and is housed in the Summer School database. Will there be an option to copy this data into the new school year?

This is going to be a requirement for EOY 3 starting in the 25-26 school year. We really need a clear process before July since that is when we will need to start collecting this attendance.

Aeries is aware that, as a result of AB1113, the CDE is researching how to add reporting for these types of Expanded Learning Opportunities Programs (ELOP) to CALPADS. Once that reporting process has been identified by CALPADS, we will then begin to make any adjustments needed to accommodate the CALPADS reporting function.
For over 10 years, Aeries has had the capability of tracking student Supplemental Attendance for programs like this, and we have a report that grantees can run to help fill out the annual reports. However, since that Support Document didn't mention that these types of programs are part of the Expanded Learning Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELOP), this page was not returned in the results when searching for that term. We have rectified that. Here is the documentation link for that report: https://support.aeries.com/support/solutions/articles/14000072375-cclc-ases-and-assets-supplemental-attendance-report

So far we successfully use Supplemental Attendance for our ELOP needs. I am not sure exactly what the State is going to ask us to report, but I feel as if we have all of our data tucked in Supplemental Attendance. Just an opinion.
