Lock row and column headers on Classes page
When I am using the Classes page to schedule a student's classes, I usually first add a Course Request packet that has all the courses for that student's grade so that I can select which sections s/he should be in. But we have 10 Flex Periods across our various school days, and when I scroll right to view the latter flex periods, I can no longer see the row headers that tell me the name of the course. Automated days in Class Calendars for Flex Scheduling
When we create a Class Calendar for Flex scheduling, for example MTWF, it would be wonderful if Aeries could do the rest and we not have to click a little check box for every day of the school year that class will be in session. If we have already created the overall School Calendar and we create a Class Calendar for MTWF and assign it to a section, then Aeries would already have the info needed to determine the days that section is in session and needs attendance. Enhance student scheduling to randomly schedule when Course Requests have Duplicate Course Ideas
Create a way to truly randomize the scheduling of students when Course Requests are identical and the Course ID's are duplicate.

Equity in Scheduling
Provide some key fields such as, Special Ed, Race, Ethnicity on the sections where the students are displayed in SMS/MST to provide the visual information to ensure that classes are balanced.

Change Classes Trash Can button to a Drop button when making Schedule changes
The trash can button freaks a lot of end users out because they think they are permanently deleting the students class from Aeries. We have to reassure a lot of users that the information is still stored in Course Attendance and that button only "deletes" the class from the Classes page. It would be a lot more clear if the Trash Can was replaced with either a Drop link or a Drop button. Main goal is to change it to Drop rather than Delete. I believe this is how it was in the old classes?

To display Primary teacher and a Co-teacher. under Classes Schedule
For Flex Scheduling they would like it to display both teacher's names under Classes Schedule. The Primary teacher and the Co-teacher. If there's a way to indicate in the Classes table (for all Portals) to show the co-teacher's names in addition to the Primary teacher.

Would like to be able to make schedules visible by grade level
Our counselors would like to allow current students to see their schedules for next year, but not our pre-enrolled 8th graders who will be 9th graders next year. They don't want to make schedule changes for those students until just before school starts.

The Scheduling Reject Analysis Listing report when using Flex Scheduling no longer provides the same information as it did in Traditional Scheduling. The Scheduling Reject Analysis Listing Report used to show which periods were in conflict or full but that option is no longer available, now it is just a list of classes without telling us which class or period it conflicts with. This information is extremely helpful to have in the actual report instead of having to look up each individual student to see where the conflict is, which is what we are having to do right now. Can…

Scheduling Course Request Tally report should display 14 grade levels
The Scheduling Course Request Tally report displays a maximum of nine grade levels, but a TK to 12 school has Fourteen grade levels, only grades 4 to 12 print on the report. Grades TK to 3 are left off the report

Select Periods for MST Board Report
Allow the ability to select which period to display on the MST Board report. Currently, this is based on a start time - but allowing districts to select which periods to print can display the primary MST schedule and allow the second page to be the unique flex periods.

Course Request Form Functionality Should Match Classes Form
Although a previous AeriesIdea request (Course Request page more like New Classes page from 2020) has now been listed as completed; the functionality of the CLASSES form has not been programmed for the Course Request Form (on Classes form, selecting the EDIT button on the banner above the course requests results in a "tile" view of all sections of all course requests, which allows a counselor to make changes while seeing available classes, class counts, etc.). Add Class Link to Flex SMS Board and SMS Builder
Class links are a fantastic feature for easily scheduling students into linked classes. However, linking classes together is not easy since it is currently only done through the SMS (or MST) page, typically after the schedule has already been created.
Please add the Class Link field to the SMS Board and SMS Builder so that the links can be applied as staff are building schedules initially.

The status has been modified from "Started" to "No Status" so that the idea can continue to receive votes.
An upcoming release will include a visual enhancement to the Flex SMS Board that will display sections with a Class Link value.

A one step report to find students NOT scheduled in a class. For instance finding 9th graders not scheduled in a required class like E100 - English, or E111 - Honors English
