Student Tardy Slip
It would be nice if there were a button for tardy slips much like the Readmit Slip. It could print the student name, date and time and print 2 copies; one for the office and one for the student.

Students Absent or Tardy Today and Inactive Students
Students Absent or Tardy Today report does not show students who are currently Inactive but were enrolled on the date the report is being run for. Students Absent or Tardy Today report should be enhanced to honor Attendance Enrollment and Course Attendance.

Attendance Audit Report should consider attendance enrollment to flag student not of age
The audit attendance report in Aeries should flag errors if a student is not of age. This verification should not solely rely on demographic data but should also consider attendance enrollment to detect instances where a student was underage at the beginning of the school year. If the student doesn’t meet the minimum age requirement in a specific grade, it should be reflected on the attendance audit list. This is crucial to our district as it will minimize attendance errors and avoid claiming ADA for a student is not eligible.

Absence Code Color Options - Show assigned colors when Printing the Absence Code Table
After assigning the colors to the Update Absence Code Page, it would be nice if we could both print to Excel the codes as well as Show the colors of each code when selecting print.
It would also be very helpful if the color was assigned to the Type of attendance field and populated to all codes that fit the type?

Add attendance note prompt screen to confirm record deletion OR seperate save and delete button
In the Attendance Note window the save and delete button are right next to each other and often times the delete button is accidently hit and the entire record is instantly deleted. It would be most helpful if the buttons were separated OR if there was a "Are you sure you want to delete this record" prompt came up to protect the date entered.

Allow users to Edit Margins or Print Size in Attendance letters. (This is not about District Letters)
The letters have a lot of spacing in the margins causing some letters to be 2 pages becuase of a signature line. I have elimited some words to make this work but if I could change margin or print size, it would print much more professional.

Attendance Submission Log and Missing Attendance reports only allow a user to select Tracks A-F or All Tracks. Please enhance this filter to include all Tracks as defined in School Options and the Code Table.

Help add some accessibility features to increase visibility on Attendance. Please make the attendance page with alternating grey and white rows OR allow the ability for teachers to highlight the row of a student when selected like on Gradebook.

Quick view of Enrollment for Primary Students
For the sake of ADA and CALPADS, It would be nice if the number of students enrolled daily, found on the home page of each school site and district, would separate out the numbers by programs. It would be a quick view of total enrolled, absences, and tardies of students with only a primary enrollment. Currently our total district count includes concurrent students and it is not a clear reflection of our actual primary enrollment numbers.

Attendance Letters - Provide the ability to turn off printing absences in the middle of the letter
Allow us to choose if we want to print "Details specific to each student appear in the center of the letter."

Student Profile Attendance Summary: allow both Period & Daily Attendance tracking
We want to enable the Period Attendance tracking, but would like to retain the daily attendance tracking stats.

Period Tardies
Period Absences
Periods Unexcused
Periods PresentPeriod Attendance stats help better track truancy, but daily stats are aligned more with ADA tracking.

Missing Attendance Report - clear all missing attendance for the day
I submitted the ticket below and was told Missing Att is intended to be run daily. That is understood but it is often not feasible to correct all missing teacher attendance that quickly, especially with over 70 teachers on staff. Having an option to clear all missing att classes by day or in some large chunk would be beneficial.

Option to Recalculate Attendance Letter Counters in STU
In addition to being able to "Zero Student Absence Letter Counters", I think it would be helpful to have a "Recalculate Student Absence Letter Counters" option.
The function would evaluate the LTL table for the current year records and re-calculate what the counter should be based on those records. I find the counters get out of synch often and it's not a case where we want to reset to 0, but reset to what they should be based on the LTL table.

Search by SSID on Attendance Management Page
On the Attendance Management page, there is no option to search for a student by their SSID.
Could this be added?
Because of CALPADS this is an identifying item that is used more and more.2 votes -

Add the option to filter by Teacher in an Elementary w/MST using Daily Attendance when printing the Attendance Notes Usage report.
