The Copy students to summer school should show the summer term and preference in the course requests page at the summer school
My summer school is offering 2 terms and each term has an am and pm. Even though the summer course requests are still ordered by the course#, at least you can still see the term and am/pm preference this student is assigned to. Once you copy students to summer school, their course requests in the summer school do not show their summer
term or am/pm preference. My summer admin will need to have 2 browser windows open for each of their summer students. One browser in the regular school to view the summer course requests for the summer term and…4 votes -
Create MST record from Teacher page
Have a quick way to create a new section from the Teachers page > MST Classes tab (instead of having to do it through the Master Schedule page when you are on the Teacher you want to create it for).

Student Locator Cards: add printing of Scheduling Group (STU.SG)
Add the ability to print the Scheduling Group (STU.SG) field on the Student Locator Cards. The customer is using the STU.SG field to group AM vs. PM students.

Teachers - Show Co-Taught Sections on All Teacher's Schedules
Though secondary teachers can be listed within a section, the secondary teacher's schedule does not show these courses.

Alt. Ed Course Requests for Next Year Include Actual Course
When scheduling for next year we add the place holder courses like stated in the alt ed scheduling guides but we can't add the actual courses as well. We have to wait until the school year begins and the classes move over to the "Classes" page.
I would like to add the actual course ahead of time and be able to mass add ex. all 11th graders in English 11
More info: Our school is online only and uses Edgenuity.

When copying students from one class section to another, need a way to also copy the wait list to the new section as well
We sometimes have to create a new section in the master schedule and move students into it. Currently we mostly do this for teacher changes, or sometimes the addition of another section as well. We would like the option to copy over the wait list students as well. It appears the only way to do this currently is to add them one by one to the new section.

Option to hide inactive sections in Staff / Master Schedule with Flex
When using flex and looking up a teachers sections, there is no distinction between inactive and active sections. Maybe either make them the inactive sections red or show the status on the right and then let us click a box to hide the inactive. (right now status shows nothing even if inactive)

Lock row and column headers on Classes page
When I am using the Classes page to schedule a student's classes, I usually first add a Course Request packet that has all the courses for that student's grade so that I can select which sections s/he should be in. But we have 10 Flex Periods across our various school days, and when I scroll right to view the latter flex periods, I can no longer see the row headers that tell me the name of the course. And if I scroll down to look at latter rows of courses in the list, I can no longer see the column…

Enhance student scheduling to randomly schedule when Course Requests have Duplicate Course Ideas
Create a way to truly randomize the scheduling of students when Course Requests are identical and the Course ID's are duplicate.

Would like to be able to make schedules visible by grade level
Our counselors would like to allow current students to see their schedules for next year, but not our pre-enrolled 8th graders who will be 9th graders next year. They don't want to make schedule changes for those students until just before school starts.

Alt Ed Scheduling - Inactive Courses
For a school with Alt Ed Scheduling turned on, editing courses in Course Attendance (CAR) record allows the user to update the course number to an inactive course but the same cannot be done in Classes (SEC). Either adding inactive courses should work in BOTH CAR and SEC or not at all in BOTH.

Master Schedule Page - Section Staff Members - Staff Role allow for code table values
Currently the Staff Role dropdown field is hardcoded. Allow for custom code table values to work here so that values can be added for specialists, coaches, and other types of add on staff to the section.

Staff ID Based SMS/MST ( non flex ) - Ability to add placeholder teachers
We would like a way to create sections that do not have a teacher associated on the SMS / a teacher that has not been added to STF.
Many times our HR department is running behind, so we need to be able to schedule nearly completely and then just update the teacher STF.ID in the SMS/ MST.
If there is a way to highlight these sections that would be great.

Scheduling using the "show available periods" Screen
Schedulers would benefit tremendously by being able to select courses/sections based on the grid availability directly on the "show available periods" screen rather than grabbing from the SMS/MST list. The ability to see them is awesome, but wondering if we have the ability to select directly from that view that I haven't found yet.
If we can click on the circle and it would select that section, that would save countless hours of searching the SMS and waiting for the Sort/Filter function at each step.3 votes -
Add Copy Button for College Articulations
Currently there is no copy button - so each college we work with has to be entered manually. Our tech dept can then copy it to all sites. But this year we are working with 5 community colleges and the criteria is the same at each. All the other edit buttons have an option to copy, why not this?
