Mass Add Attendance Note - Add Comment
When mass updating the attendance notes, it would be helpful if the comment field could also be mass updated to capture any specific notes for the day. Currently, I can select a note to mass update and even type in the comment field, but the comment does not populate to all of the student records.

Enrollment History - Add Updated By User Fields
In Aeries, the Enrollment History screen does not show who made a change. This is a suggestion to add additional information on the Enrollment History screen instead of having to rely on analyzing the LOG table in the backend.

Please add an option to Include Attendance Makeup days to nullify absences on the Perfect Attendance Report and the Students with Good Attendance Report.

District Attendance Letters - Date/Time to Generate
Allow the option to specify dates (and time) to generate district attendance letters.
In our district, we generate letters every other week, on the same day (a total of 16 times per school year). Having the letters auto-generate would be helpful. It would take the task off someone’s desk, having to remember to generate those letters on the specified days.

Attendance Letters - Change Default Letter Delivery Type
Suggest that Digital not be the first or default choice for the delivery type for attendance letters. If you mistakenly forget to change the type or are running a test and do not change it, the letter will be sent out. Putting Do Not Send as the default seems the safest choice.

Ability to set "Before" and "After" times for Secondary ADA in order to create a window for attendance taking
We need the ability to set a window for our afternoon Elementary school teachers to take attendance just like the morning teachers do. In Portal Options, there is a setting to enter how many minutes "before" and how many minutes "after" the Primary ADA time to limit attendance taking but there is no way to do the same for the Secondary ADA time.

Classroom Attendance and Block Sections
The Classroom Attendance page allows for clerks or admins to update 10 days of attendance on the one page. The page is not looking at each individual section. When Save is clicked, it looks at the section for the date selected in the date dropdown and assumes all the days have the same section with the same Block value. If a previous attendance code is populated, it sometimes assumes it should also be the same block value and updates all previously entered codes to be the same block. Enhance to more accurately handle blocks.

Attendance reports to honor reporting home school
With the new AB 130 requirements in California, we decided to maintain IS students in their own school but link them to their home school by Report Homeschool field on Student Data 2 tab.
I realized when we run attendance reports, that report will just group students by grade/teacher but not by reporting home school.Can we have the attendance reports break out the groups by home schools, too, please?

Bell Schedule - Copy to Multiple Days
It would be helpful in some situations, such as when schools may fluctuate between schedules due to the pandemic, to be able to quickly copy a single bell schedule to multiple days at once instead of having to set the schedule one day at a time. Being able to multi-select days by either control-click, checkbox, or some kind of "copy to all subsequent regular days of same name" (so all following mondays, or tuesdays, etc as the currently selected day) would be great.

Missing Attendance - Add Different time stamps for Attendance Submission
Our elementary schools are set up with AM and PM sessions. Each teacher has two teacher records, one for AM and one for PM. When taking attendance, both sessions are time-stamped with the same AM time-stamp. For security issues, our office staff needs to know when the teacher has taken attendance for the PM session.

Attendance - Disable data entry on periods where the student has no classes
On the Attendance page, please disable the period columns from data entry when the student does not have classes that meet during that period. Currently, no dashes display but an absence code can still be entered and saved.

Teacher Attendance - Add an "All Other Students Are Absent" Button
With positive attendance we have to mark present students and then it would be nice for the balance to be marked absent. Especially now marking many students absent but then present later for asynchronous work. It would eliminate a lot of clicking each period.

The Attendance Dashboard "Days Present" total should exclude any Absent (ABS) code defined as Verified Not Absent.
The Attendance Dashboard "Days Present" total should exclude any Absent (ABS) code defined as Verified Not Absent. Students on independent study Incomplete are neither present nor absent. It should also not display 100% on days marked as staff development in calendar.

Display Attendance Totals for Teachers
My teachers are asking if it is possible to include totals at the bottom of their attendance screens for each column (absent, tardy, late truant) for the given period they are teaching for the day. Right now they have to scroll up and down the class list and tally the numbers of students absent or tardy or ill.

Add visual indicator for month on Attendance calendar
We have had several requests to add some sort of visual indication of the attendance month when looking at the Attendance Calendar area of Demographics. The predominant request is to add a colored line in between the rows when an attendance month changes.

Allow us to generate overall percentages for entire classes.
Allows instructors to see very clearly what total points for each class are, and what the average percentage of all students is.

Please change student names in Seating Chart and Attendance by Photo to go by LAST NAME. No one wants to alphabetize students by first name!

Students with Duplicate Enrollments needs to look for Inactive students in current year
This report needs to look for duplicate enrollments within the current academic year to ensure that a student has not garnered ADA for overlapping days. It should also print the Special Program field (perhaps only in CA) so they can tell which enrollments are secondary and which are primary enrollments.
