Automate SSA Date
Consider adding a district option to remove SSA dates after three years. Allow districts to decide if that want the date updated automatically. Currently, it needs to be managed manually.

PBIS Page for Documenting Behaviors for Teacher Referrals
PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) is a discipline methodology and practice that we would like to have incorporated in either discipline or interventions pages. If there was a page to document behaviors - positive & negative, to be able to run daily reports for the PBIS teams to use data to form decisions about students behavior and to create interventions before it becomes an assertive discipline issue. Assertive Discipline Report that aligns with CA Dashboard
We have a need to monitor Suspension data and compare it with the California Dashboard. There is currently no report that can be easily pulled and compared to the dashboard. We want to see the actual number of students who have been suspended at least once in the school year, broken down by subgroup (gender, ethnicity/race and disability) as well as overall. We also want to see a total days of suspension for each student and we would like to be able to see the Suspension rate indicator that is on the CA Dashboard.

Assertive Discipline - Add Incident ID to Display When Selecting Record
Please add the Incident ID so that it displays next to the date of the record when you are looking at the list of all of a students incidents. CALPADS no longer shows the date of the incident and instead shows the Incident ID when they show errors. This can make it very difficult to find where an error might be for student, especially when some students have quite a few incidents. Without the Incident ID you might have to open multiple records in order find which record has a problem.

Victims - Add a time field
Please add a field for time on the victims page. The time slot on the discipline page is only useful if discipline was associated with the victim incident, an incident such as alleged bullying would not have a discipline incident.

Assertive Discipline Emails
Currently emails only go out when a teacher inputs something to assertive discipline. We would like an email to go out whenever anyone adds to assertive discipline especially if causes suspension or expulsion.

Define required fields for DIS and CNF table
Can DIS and CNF be added as a table to Define Required fields? We would like to be able to require the CD field. We have entries with no code values, just comments which make it dificult to query.

Need to create a separate "category" on the Discipline Dashboard for Students with Disabilities.

Copy Letter text (suspension, discipline, attendance, Illness etc.) to multiple schools
As an Administrator, I would like to be able to copy letter text to other schools without having to cut and paste to each school. We often update letters district wide or by school level and being able to update in one file and copy to other schools with the same Letter ID would be helpful.

Discipline IDs - When 2 students share the same Incident ID, add warning if the date is changed.
CALPADS Discipline - When 2 students share the same Incident ID, Will it be possible to have a warning when changing the date in one of them (saying there is a student with same Incident ID but different date)?

Please add a place to enter victims and witnesses from the assertive discipline page, rather than having to add the victims and witnesses records to the individual students.

Assertive Discipline - Add a Field in Disposition to track name of admin making decisions
We have a referrer field on the assertive discipline record, but there is no place to put who was the counselor/principal/etc that made the administrative decision.
OUSD tracks this information on a paper sheet filled out by the teacher, and completed by the admin. However, we have no place in Aeries to assign the admin that completed the record. We would have to go back to the paper to find out which admin made the decision on the dispositions.12 votes -
Add options to Discipline Incident form to suppress inactives/pre-enrolled students
Discipline Incident form - this form shows the active and inactive students incidents which can be confusing. If you are looking at today's incidents and an inactive student that has transferred to another school site received an incident they display on the form. Can an option be added so that you can select to see ONLY active students?

Data Validation - Assertive Discipline missing Victim and/or Witness
Create a data validation definition when an Assertive Discipline code contains any of the "Bully/Harass*" codes and is missing a victim or witness.

Discipline - Prompt to Complete the BER
When students are involved in a suspendable offense, it frequently involved staff intervention. It would be great if there could be a prompt asking if there was a physical restraint or timeout needed once the incident is entered so that the incident and any behavior report are connected.

Discipline Entry Notification - NON Teacher Adds
Add the ability for the email address defined in Portal Options on the Miscellaneous Tab to receive alerts anytime an admin enters DIS records in addition to when a teacher enters DIS.

Assertive Discipline-Allow to upload a picture to an incident
Add a way to upload a picture to a discipline incident. For example if there was a vandalism and we could take a picture of that vandalism and upload it to the discipline incident it is tied to.
