Transcript Indicators Codes on the Transcript Page
Currently Transcript Indicator codes on the Transcript page only display to Aeries users with Admin accounts. User accounts require Read permissions to the following tables: CRS, HIS and XRF. The logic should be changed so that only Read permission to HIS is required.

Tab Stops on Transcripts Page
The tab is not working correctly. When you tab fields: term, grade, CrsID, the tab disappears after tabbing to CrsId. You hit Tab a second time and it will go to RT. Can it not disappear between CrsID and the RT? Thank you!
Please fix using tab when entering data for a transcript.

Transcripts - Option to limit records to credits completed.
When our counselors are trying to verify credits completed, it's cumbersome for them to have to scroll through all of the middle school courses that don't earn high school credits.

Transcript - for Elementary w/Master, with Staff ID Based Counselor, modify transcript to check for STU.CU if STU.CNS is blank
Transcript- for Elementary w/Master, with Staff ID Based Counselor, modify transcript to check for STU.CU field if STU.CNS field is blank. Print "Teacher" instead of "Counselor" on Transcript.

Mass Print Transcripts with Last Name, First Name as title
Counselors need to Submit many transcripts each year to colleges. We know there is a Mass Print option for Transcripts, but it makes all the Transcripts print as 1 file. We would like transcripts to be individual files automatically named with the Student's Last Name, First Name for convenience. Downloading individual transcripts and renaming each file is very time consuming. This is not urgent, but would be greatly appreciated in the future.

Transcript Definition - Add Reporting Home School Address
In Transcript Definition when selecting Reporting Home School under "Name Under Transcript Title" can the Reporting Home School address display as well.

Transcript Only Valid Marks
We would like an option to designate certain marks as only being valid on a transcript, but not be valid for teachers to select during grading. An example would be a school that does not issue "A+", but still wants to record it and honor it for transfers.
Currently if a student has a mark that is not in valid marks (perhaps because they transferred from a school in the same district) the class is dropped from the credits and GPA calculations entirely.

Add Option to Transcript Report to ONLY print students without HIS records
Add the option to only print students without transcript records. This will permit registrars to quickly inventory students who were added who might not have been routed to their desk and to easily follow up with getting those transcripts from previous districts.

Course History institutions (CHI) - Add a method to "move" CHI referenced records to new CHI number
Course History institutions (CHI) is a "mess" in our installation, as historically users entered data with misspellings or not checking to see if it was already there. It's tedious and "dangerous" to consolidate and realign these CHI records and the referenced records. Please provide a way to combine and/or move referenced records to a new CHI number?

Transcript Definition TTP - Add CER table
We believe that displaying College Entrance Requirements on transcripts will help raise student awareness of their progress toward eligibility for UC/CSU schools, which will help them stay on track.

Copy From Summer School
HI Team,
Please create a LOG entry when someone runs "Copy From Summer School". There's no way for me to track who ran this process when creating duplicates in HIS table.
Any ADD to Transcripts should also be captured in LOG.

TX - Cumulative Class Ranking for Custom GPA
Create new report for Texas that prints cumulative historical class rank, and cumulative rank based on custom district GPA. Decimal points should go out five places. Critical for Texas districts.

We would like a report option to print transcripts with the students immunization record on the reverse side of the page.
We would like the option to print transcripts with the immunization record on the reverse side of the page. This would help with student records retention. The transcript and immunization record are permanent records, required to be kept indefinitely. Many schools are running out of space to store these records. If the two could be combined front to back it would save on storage space.
2 votesAeries allows for immunizations to be included on the transcript. This can be set up on the Transcript Definition > Things to Print tab. If you are using the 3-column transcript there are some limitations to how much can be printed in the the Things to Print area, you may want to look into using the Enhanced 1-column transcript.

Transcript auto populate the Year according to the last entry
In previous years, the following would happen when entering multiple grades onto a transcript.
Click "Add One Record"
Click "School" then "Year", then "Grade", etc....
To add another grade to the same transcript, I would:
Click "Add One Record"
AERIES would auto populate the "School", "Year", and "Grade", according to the last entry
This year, the "School" and "Grade" are auto populated, but the "Year" is not. This really slows down the process of hand entering grades. I hope it can be changed back to the way it was in all previous years.2 votes
