On the recommendation from this talk, the presenters noted the time for Validations to run is midnight which is the same time as Analytics and so the recommendation was for districts to change the default time for validations. Would it not be easier for Aeries to change the default time for all districts? This would ensure to not tax the system should a district not go in to change the default time.

Add a start date to preload global messages

This is a feature that used to be activated on the SQL version of Aeries. It would be such a time saver to be able to hover the cursor over a field and have the table and field query field code pop up.

Have Aeries.NET log to the Event Log on the System, similar to how AeriesReporting and Aeries Online Registration do so that more detailed logs could be accessed rather than relying on the on-screen error messages and IIS logs.

Military Survey at the district level would be beneficial for large and small districts. At this time, you would have to log into each school site one by one and confirm or reject a military survey record for large school districts, who may have one or two people checking 30 to 50 schools one by one can be very time-consuming. For smaller school districts who only have a district Aeries support person(s), it will make life easier and be a more efficient way to confirm or reject the military survey records from a district level.

Some of our Fees are not intended to be collected. Specifically, fees which represent balances at other districts. We have to enter those so we know to check with the other district before graduating a student, but we cannot collect payments for those fees.
I want to request an option to mark a record in Financials as not allowed to be paid.

Currently the ability to refresh validations occurs at the group level.

However not all validations within a group may be marked as "User Can Refresh". This would be confusing to a user who refreshes after addressing the non-refreshable validation issues.

My suggestion would be to add a thumbtack glyph to the validation header bar with rollover text that states something to the effect of “these validation results are pinned by the system administrator”.

Test Scores Source field (TST.SRC) is only displaying hard coded codes. Need to open it up to the COD table values for the TST.SRC field.

Can you add a field for Location on the Behavioral Emergency page to assist with keeping records complete.

Would like a start time and end time field added to the Behavioral Emergency page.

We need an appointment schedule system similar to built in-to https://easyappointments.org/

This can be used for asset distribution to limit the number of staff / students / parents to stop by the office.

After COVID, we can use this with Counselors and other appointment-based programs.

In order to track student movement and boundary changes, it would be very useful if the grid code and residence schools were included in the address history table.

When enrolling a student, the system defaults to today’s date for the enter date, and then when you add classes, it switches the CAR date to tomorrow’s date as the default. It makes no sense to me. It never has, and I hear it from others all the time. If we can’t change it, then please make it scream at me to verify or change the CAR date.

From March 2020 Conference: On Mass Assign Family Keys, can I have a pre-process analysis report for what family each student would be matched to if the Mass Assign was run

Create Pre-Enrolled students, Analysis section after Calculate Totals does not sort by SC first, then by GR.
