CALPADS - Support importing new Migrant Eligible Program Students (MEPS) Extract in 2025-26
In 2025-2026, CALPADS will have a new Extract file for Migrant Students called MEPS that will come from a separate system. Allow this extract to be imported into Aeries in the Special Programs page.
Hello, this work item has been completed and was released on 9/30/25. Here are the relevant revision notes:
School Info > Imports and Exports > CALPADS Extracts:
- The CALPADS page has been updated to allow importing the new Migrant Eligible Program Students (MEPS) Extract file. This is a new tab, located below the LTEL import, that will allow the selection of the MEPS file and the load, processing, and update of the SSD and PGM tables. See CALPADS - MEPS Extract

Today is CBEDS day and this is when we start reporting this information. Do we have any updates?

Aeries, you knew about this is May but waited until September, when the MEPS extract was already available in Calpads, to start it!? Aeries, this is why so many of your customers are so very disappointed with you.

Hello,
Our migrant department has started tagging students in Aeries because the data is needed for student support and accountability documentation. With that said, how will this affect the MEPS import? Will the student have two Migrant records? Will MEPS auto exit the existing Migrant record with a date prior to the start date in the MEPS file? -

This is a must-have. Is there an ETA for when this will be available?

I would just wonder why Aeries does not already have this in place. The vendors have been aware of the changes for CALPADS for months and only after months of the new process being in place we now need to ask to have a feature added /adjusted after schools has started.
