We are aware of the changes coming to CALPADS for this data collection and will be making the changes necessary to comply, as we do for all regulatory items.

There are some situations where attendance should not change.
For example, when an elementary student is suspended 5 minutes into the class day. In that situation, the student is suspended for a full day but since he/she was in class, we do not lose that ADA. Since there are situations like that, I would prefer some sort of trigger or alert on the ADS page notifying the user that a suspension has been entered without corresponding attendance. That way the user can then make the appropriate attendance updates.
