Expanded Learning Opportunities (ELOP) - The ability to track and report Student registration and participation is needed for 25/26 SY
A method is needed to track the ELOP opportunities that students are registered for and participating is needed for the 25/26 school year. It will now be incorporated into the CALPADS process. The districts would benefit tremendously from having this. I know in California we need it! It will help with reporting state information to see and compare how it relates to the funding we receive.

Here are the relevant revision notes:
New Year Rollover:
- For California districts, data in the following tables will roll over for records with start dates on or after July: Supp Att Calendar (ATC), Supp Att Assignments (ATA), Supp Att Data (ATD).
School Info:
- Configurations > District Settings:
- A new district setting titled “Supplemental Attendance Program Codes for Attendance Recovery” is now available. Users with Edit rights can identify which Supplemental Attendance Program (ATP.TY) codes are used for this program type. See District Settings.
- A new district setting titled “Expanded Learning Programs” is now available. Users with Edit rights can identify which Supplemental Attendance Program (ATP.TY) codes are used for this program type. See District Settings.

Import Data to Aeries - allow importing into the PGS - Program Services table
Need to allow for Mass Adding Programs Services to the PGS Table.
Previously this was possible with a change query, however since Program Services is now a separate table this needs to be refined.

Screening for Risk of Reading Difficulties required by Ed Code 53008
There is new annual Screening for Risk of Reading Difficulties program beginning in the 2025-56 school year for K-2 students. Part of the requirements are parent notification of Screener results. Aeries is planning development of a feature to facilitate this in our system. This will allow Districts to utilize the results of whatever Screener provider they choose to import into Aeries to allow administrators, teachers and parents to access the results, via the admin, teacher and parent portals.

Default to District School in Special Programs
In Special Programs the student's enrollment will be followed in Aeries for CALPADS reporting if the school is populated with the District. So making the PGM.SC default to populate itself to the District instead of the school the student is currently enrolled in would save a lot of time on data clean up while reporting to CALPADS.

Free and Reduced Management Page
Create a new table to store student's Free and Reduced information, similar to the FRE table. This separate table will store records from the different imports available in Aeries: Parent Data Confirmation, NSLP Import, Direct Cert, etc. Provide a management page to define what is the true source.

Free and Reduced - Print does not include Income Survey Range
The Print on the Free and Reduced programs does not include the Income Survey Level. Auditors were requesting this information for students to spot-check.

Residence Survey Audit and Special Programs Record
When the Residence Survey is completed through Online Enrollment, if a special programs record is triggered it should also go to the Residence Survey Audit. This is an easier way for designated staff to review data that is time sensitive.

Career Pathway Management - Need Sub-Pathway Codes
For CTE pathways such as 111 - Design, Visual, and Media Arts, there are 4 different sub pathways that schools can have. But in the setup there is only code 111 not 111A, 111B, … So I can only setup one of my pathways at a time. Then I have to delete it and put in the courses for the next pathway, process the students, repeat... It would be nice if the sub-pathway codes were available for use so that they could all be setup at the same time and did not require me to re-set them up every year.…

Student Programs report: add FOF (504) and GTE (GATE) to the report
The Student Programs report only includes PGM records. If the FOF (504) and GTE (GATE) and any other non-PGM records for student programs were included, it would improve the usefulness and completeness of the report.

Remove Expired CALPADS Program Codes from drop-down menu
These two are still available (even after Inactivation) from the drop-down menu when adding a new student program record, they should be removed:

Program Codes - Enhance to Allow for rolling forward certain program codes and their associated data and have a configurable start date be entered as the new start date of the records

Special Programs- Add record counter to current programs
Many users get confused and think there aren't any current programs under the special programs table. I would like to suggest adding a record counter on the current programs dropdown (similar to the program history dropdown). This would be an indicator they have a current record.

Special Education Page - Add ability to attach IEP document
Would like to have a place in the Special Education page General Tab where we can attach an IEP at a glace for the teachers to access. Similar to Student Documents.

Student Programs Report - Allow Teachers to Print by Class/Period
It would be very useful for our teachers to print the Student Programs report by class or period. We keep all our accommodations in Special Programs and the teachers need to drill down to each student's Special Programs page to see the accommodations. One report for each class would be much more useful.

Service Learning - Allow Annual Exemptions
Our District would like to provide an annual exemption for Service Learning for the 2019-2020 school year. Based on how the hours auto-calculate, it does not seem to have the ability to do this. Can this be added to the product?
Additionally, there are other times we need to do a per-student exemption ( agreements with the student, home hospital situations, etc ). It would be a great future-feature to have on a per-student / per-class basis.

Special Programs Grade Field (PGM.EG)
Fix the Special Programs page to default the PGM.EG grade to the student's grade when adding a new record. Also fix Program History section to display EG = 0 as 0 instead of K.

Language Assessment EL end date updates current year LIP program record end date
Currently a reporting error generates for students who are previously EL, but have been reclassified RFEP, while also already having an LIP record reported to CALPADS. Programming resolution would be to create a SQL data event trigger. Anytime an LAC EL end date is populated, any LIP program record with a null end date would have the same date cascaded to the current year LIP record end date.

Demographics - Allow LAC.USS to be Required on Demographics Page
If the LAC.USS field is defined as a required field on the LAC table, make the ability for the requirement to translate over to the STU table where the field displays. Many of my districts are missing this field and they fill in this data on the Demographics page, NOT the Language Assessment page. I made the field required on the LAC but it doesn't translate over as required on STU.

Special Education - Ability to add IEP Goals and Objectives
Would love to be able to add Goals and Objectives to the Special Education section of Aeries. We integrated with SEIS so having those be brought nightly over would be wonderful!
