Option to Import Student Pictures from Google Drive
It would be great if Aeries had an option to import pictures from Google Drive, not just a local computer drive.

Add a table for custody information related to student
Add a table to house custody information. I currently store the information in Medical History since it gives the ability to print on the emergency cards and allows parents to review during PDC. It would be nice to be able to query those specifics out separately though.

Adult Education - Add Miscellaneous Field for Booking
At Riverside County Office of Education, we also need a miscellaneous field to add incarcerated student's booking numbers. We had this on our original custom form.

Student Search Widget (with shortcuts)
Add a Student Search "widget" that can be added to the Admin user home page. Look similar to the Student Search box that comes up but also include links/shortcuts to search grade levels at the school, last name and gender.

** Vital Field - Instructional Status is missing from Adult Ed Form
Hello!
We are interested in converting from using a Custom form we developed in-house for Riverside County Office of Education Adult Education programs to the Adult Eduction form which was implemented in AERIES.
However, it appears that a vital field is missing from the form called Instructional Status. We really need to store this information to provide teachers with information such as EST and literacy levels of the student for instruction.

School Events - Allow Grade Level Events
I recently started using School Events and I would love if there was a feature to just post certain events on certain grade levels. For example I would like to be able to post all of the "senior dates" in the school events page, but I would like for only my 12th grade students to view.

Add Exit Reason 161 for Student Transfer from Independent Study HS to Regular HS
Add Exit Code 161 - Regular, non-discip transfer to public CA School - In District (LOCAL CODE ONLY - Mapped to T160) for students that are changing primary enrollments from Independent Study to regular high school.

School of Choice Management Details
School of Choice Management, when clicking on Details, if you're not logged into the School the student is currently enrolled in you get a redirect error This is an issue because Current School is not populated until a decision email is sent. Provide a better navigation for user.

Endorsements/Add-On Grad Req widget: if student is Not on Track, display the Details popup anyways
On the Profile and Grad Status pages, the Endorsements page contains widget elements for each Endorsement. If a student is On Track, the widget displays their credits vs. credits needed for the endorsements. When the credits radio is clicked, a popup displays helpful course credit details. When the student is Not on Track, even if they have some credits toward the Endorsements, they don't see the credits radio or the popup. Without the popup showing the details, customers often click Override, instead of investigating why the student is Not on Track.

Student ID Cards with the option to Print Preferred Names
Would it be possible to have Student ID's print out with the preferred name of the student instead of the legal name?

Class Summary, change Meeting column name to "Other link"
On the Profile page under Class Summary the Meeting column name should be changed to "Other Link" to allow teachers to add a link to their web page to allow parents easy access. With the column named "Meeting", parents would be less likely to use the link.
Having a link to Google Classroom is sort of useless, as parents can't access that link and kid's don't need the link to get to their GC classes. The one-click MAKING of the GC classes is awesome, I just don't know if we need the space dedicated to a link to GC in…1 vote -
New Student Notification Email or Alert to Aeries Users
Currently, there is a feature in Aeries CERS Student Groups table where an email is sent to an email(s) of when the process status is complete. I think it would be a good idea to create such a feature or better for when a new student is enrolled. This way teachers, admins, and support staff can be notified as soon as a student profile is saved with a student ID, and all student services and needs will be ready by the appropriate staff on students' first day of school. (our current process is not working well enough).

Alpha Order Reset on Teacher Name Selection in Reports
When highlighting Teacher names in the alphabetical Teacher selection field on Weekly Attendance reports or in Class Rosters, the list of Teacher names jumps back to the top after each selection. It becomes time consuming to scroll through the list for each selection, especially as staff reaches mid to end of the list. Please enhance so the list of names does not jump back to the top after each selection.

Identify 18YO High School Students
For high school seniors who are 18 years old who do not want parents to have access to their records - a field to identify them. The field could be used to query/KEEP/ or create student groups, but also identify to vendors (Naviance, Canvas, ParentSquare, SportsNet and others) to not share (or limit access) data with parents. Currently, our only option is to change Contacts records, which is inadequate. Check box to allow or disallow parents to view student alias
Have an option to show or not show the student alias to parents in the parent portal/reports cards etc... For instance, if a student has an alias but the parents are not aware there should be an option for admin to check so that the legal name shows on all documents like report cards and parent portals but keeps the student portal showing the alias. This way we are not outing students and also not deadnaming them.

Add a "pending enrollment" status that does not generate an error message
Our centralized enrollment team wants to be able to track our new enrollments in Aeries that are still pending as they wait for required enrollment items, such as, Proof of Residency, residency verification, etc. Our LEA decided to add this option to the dropdown in the STU.TG (record status field), with the code of “P” and the descriptor of "Pending DSC Approval". On student search results, please show enrolled date, as well, so that we can easily choose the appropriate Demographics records? When a student has attended several schools in the district, it's not easy to choose the correct one without knowing the enrollment dates.
