Tracking days attended after an absence
Our district is looking for Aeries to create a way to track days attended after an absence. After attending many meetings regarding attendance improvement, a recommendation every time, is to acknowledge improved attendance. We need a mechanism to find which students are improving. By how much? Can we tie that to a particular intervention...etc. You get the idea! Aeries, can you help us districts out? The research is clear that rewarding or at the very least, acknowledging, improved attendance goes a LONG way in increasing ADA and helping families develop good habits.
Thank you for submitting this enhancement request. At this time, Aeries does not plan to introduce a dedicated feature to track attendance improvement.
Districts can leverage Aeries Expansion Queries to analyze attendance patterns, track changes over time, and identify students demonstrating improved attendance based on locally defined criteria.
More information on using Expansion Queries can be found here, if interested, please open a ticket with Aeries Support to have the applicable expansion queries added:
