Define Required Fields for MII Table
We would like the MII table added to define required fields. We have found that many families are not including their insurance carrier when completing insurance information which is causing additional work for staff. We use a third party for medical billing and our medical billing technician must now contact those families to add their insurance carrier.

Hello, this work item has been completed and was released on 6/23/26. Here are the relevant revision notes:
Student Data: Medical:
- Insurance Info: Added required field indicators (*) to Insurance Carrier Code, Member ID, Insurance Type, and Effective Date in both Read and Edit mode in the Admin Portal and Parent Portal. Insurance Carrier Code and Member ID are now required fields; attempting to save without them displays an error identifying the missing field. The Insurance Carrier field label has been updated to Insurance Company in both portals. The field descriptions for Insurance Carrier Code (ICC) and Insurance Carrier Name (NM) have been updated to Insurance Company Code and Insurance Company Name respectively. See Insurance Information

We are moving towards including the MII piece, but I feel like this is a very critical part to exposing this page to parents. We are looking to open this page up now with instructions, and will implement this in our Data Confirmation during the Summer 2026.
OUSD would LOVE to see this added to Aeries by this coming summer. Preferably, by May 2026 so we can implement the feaure fully in testing before opening this up in Data Confirmation.
