We've just shipped the final set-up piece to allow the creation of the SUN Bucks Supplemental Submisison extract. The final piece, the EDCS extract itself, is in development, and will be released as soon it passes final testing..
- Code Translations: Added support for NSLP Source Code (FRE.SRC) mappings in CALPADS Code Translations. Districts can now map local NSLP source codes to EDCS fixed codes. This new mapping will be used for supporting Sunbucks. See Prepping for Supplemental SUN Bucks Collection (SSBC) via EDCS.

A new release of data specifications was released on May 13th. Has there been any movement on this request? Please let me know if you need any additional information about what we received.

I'm not sure if this matters, but I noticed this issue when I did not find these fields on the [Database Definitions] page. (I had no idea the fields were not available on the Aeries Query or that it was tied to the [Database Definitions] page)
I was able to ascertain what the fields meant by means of deduction, but with 3-digit field names, this could be difficult for other field names that are not intuitive. -

My other idea would be to add an asterisk or comment that "unverified absences will still be updated" even if the "fill-in periods" option is unchecked.
Users should not have to look up online documentation to find a comment that the option does not do what it specifies.
If it says don't fill in periods then don't fill in periods. If you're going to do it anyways then you need to notify users...
Tegrity!

We are tracking info from the CDE on what the changes for Attendance Accounting will be for the various types of instruction covered by AB 176. As soon as we have all the information they intend to collect, and what the draft audit guidelines are, we can begin development on what changes we need to make for the upcoming school year, to be sure our customers can track the information needed for this reporting.

I would like to clarify that the Student Name and ID are both combined in column A. You can confirm this by exporting as a TXT file.
Please update this report so that the ID is kept to its own column, and Student Name goes into its own column.

We are moving towards including the MII piece, but I feel like this is a very critical part to exposing this page to parents. We are looking to open this page up now with instructions, and will implement this in our Data Confirmation during the Summer 2026.
OUSD would LOVE to see this added to Aeries by this coming summer. Preferably, by May 2026 so we can implement the feaure fully in testing before opening this up in Data Confirmation.
