CALPADS Extracts sometimes do not recognize accent marks and instead will place a question mark where the letter was.

On the Define Required Fields page add MST.HQC
On the Define Required Fields page add MST.HQC. This field is a required CALPADS field, and we would like to enforce it as a required field to save.

Additional Violations for CALPADS Assertive Discipline
Currently there is a limit of five violations per incident in Assertive Discipline. We've run into this limit due to a complicated multi-day incident this summer that would have benefitted from being able to list ALL of the violations committed by the involved students in this one incident. Would like to request the number of available slots for ed code violations be increased from five to ten.

CALPADS Extracts- Enhance the Code Translations tab to have smart search / filtering of the codes
Currently when adding or editing a code on the CALPADS Code Translations page, it takes a very long time. The page needs to be adjusted to add a smart search and filters for codes and also enhance the performance time.

Calpads History Tab
Add a comment box and the option to not 'POST' under the Actions column on the new CALPADS History tab. There have been incidents where we didn't use 1 of the files. For example, forgetting to exclude secondary enrollments when pulling an SPRG file gave me an Exit SPRG that I could post since the student in the file is secondarily enrolled.
Defeats the purpose of keeping track when we are saying we posted something that we didn't.2 votes -
do not report language fluency status
In Other Options in CALAPDS Extracts can we have a table or dropdown where we can select what Language Fluency (STU.LF) code(s) not to report to CALPADS? For example, we have a 'Waiting on **' code for students who are new to our district but not new to CA. This allows our ELPAC team to know they do not need to be Initially ELPAC tested and we are waiting to confirm ELAS. In the past, it was not an issue because CALPADS would just overlook the TBD (which is the translation code) but with the CALPADS changes, it's rejecting the…

Allow for a set of pre-defined Text Replacement statements to run against CALPADS file after every extract
Many districts have special situations that require that they change data in files after the files are created before the data goes up to CALPADS. Having those "Replacement" statements saved in Aeries and automatically run would save a ton of time and make things more flexible. Each Replacement Statement should be able to be associated with specific files.

Job Assignments
Update current staff assignment codes to current CALPADS codes and delete codes that have been retired. Once a job class is selected for Admin, Pupil Services or itinerant, only allow CALPADS valid codes in drop down of non-classroom based job codes. It would also be great to have a report to identify staff records with incomplete CALPADS records.

SELA Import Process
When a correction is made to a student in CALPADS and then we re-import from CALPADS using the SELA Import Process please allow what is already in Aeries to be over written with the New CALPADS information. For the ELAS field in the Language Screen.
