  1. Seating charts should not have to be in a grid

    Allow seats to be created that don't follow a grid. Let me make students in groups with aisles between them. We should be able to flexibly arrange our seating chart to match the desks in our classroom.

    Teachers often check the wrong student when completing their attendance by photo. Better and clearer spacing between the students would be very helpful.

    Can it be possible to have the students use their ID bar code to scan themselves in for attendance, or a teacher scans the student's ID to check them in?

  5. Mass Add Attendance Notes

    Currently, Mass Change Period Absences only works for updating one day at a time which means attendance notes can only be added one day at a time. It would be helpful to be able to update attendance notes for a date range, ex: add same attendance note 9/13/21-9/15/21.

  6. Monthly Attendance Report - Not Printing Student ID

    This reports displays the Student Number instead of the Student/PermID. Since we have hidden the Student Number and are using a Student/Perm ID, please display that number instead.

  7. Classroom Attendance Section Order

    Classroom Attendance - In Flex Daily schools using Primary Tracking and Primary ADA option, TN2 section information sometimes displays visually under the Primary Teachers section which causes extra scrolling on the page to be needed.

    In need of an enhancement to be made to the Student Attendance District Summary. The enhancement would total Instructional Setting Codes 41 and 42 FTEs to assist with data entry on the Foundation School Program Application.

  9. It would be great for school sites to have the ability to have the site letterhead added in the attendance letters.

    I think it would be great to have the option to upload letterhead into the attendance letters. I feel that this would look more professional when families receive the attendance letter.

  11. Allow 2 character absence codes

    With all of the new absence codes we had to add for Distance Learning and now the ones we have to add for COVID related absences for P-EBT, we have run out of letters and have used almost half of the numbers and really need 2 character absence codes to be allowed in the system.

    Add the Report Format option drop down menu to the Attendance Submission Log to allow other report options other than the defaulted PDF option. Excel was the suggested additional option.

  13. Different Tardy Notices in Communications

    Can we have more than one Tardy notification in Communications? We need to send a letter when students have 5, 10,20,30,40,50 total tardies. As of right now, the only way to accomplish this is through District Attendance Letters and this is a manual process. It would be nice this could be added to Auto Notices in Communications.

  14. Attendance entered beforehand for trips, activities or surgeries

    With Flex scheduling when entering attendance for an activities, trips or doctor appointments. Our school has many clubs that give our attendance clerk that she enters ahead of time. Especially when there is 30-50 students going. Or if a family is traveling during school time. In Flex if there is class changes the attendance put in doesn't follow the period but it stays with the original class. Then there are errors and you have to go back to every student and delete the code in the original class and re enter in the new class. Not only is this time…

  15. Attendance by Month (Starting 1st day of each Month) Report?

    If there was an ability to have a report that could be ran that would report attendance by Month (Starting on the 1st day vs how all the other reports are now) that would be extremely helpful in certain scenarios.

  16. Attendance Notes Dropdown - code column not visible

    Attendance Notes dropdown - Please swap places in the dropdown of how attendance notes are viewed by placing the code to the left of the description. A lot of instruction at the local level are written out with the code to use, but it's not easily visible in the dropdown.

  17. Create a Student Attendance Percentage Report for Negative Attendance Schools

    Please create a report for negative attendance schools that includes student attendance percentages similar to the Student Attendance Percentage Report for our continuing HS.

    Basically, when we have a school event, students need a 90% attendance rate to participate for the current semester only, so for Spring Semester - when school started to the day I run the report. On the student's Attendance page, there are 3 boxes that list the percentages for the Year, Fall and Spring. The boxes show days enrolled and days present. I need this info for ALL students.

  18. Attendance Note -- Allowing non attendance period teachers to add attendance note

    It would be helpful to allow non attendance period teachers to add attendance notes. Currently, these teachers get a message "Alert - Not Authorized to add nots t this Period/Section!". Our independent study schools are set up as daily period 1 attendance but students have different teachers for different periods. However, only period 1 teachers can add notes; others cannot.
