Create new Free & Reduced Field
If the idea for a new Free and Reduced Management Page is not in the near future. Could Aeries at least add new fields in the current Free & Reduced page to help track student status for EDCS submissions (SUN Bucks). The fields I am requesting is to track the student base on the following status which are asked in the EDCS template:
ubareceiveddate
nslpreceiveddate
localdirectcertifieddate
benefitsextended_date
As well as a Direct Certification Date.

Thank you for taking the time to submit this request and for providing such detailed context around your EDCS submission workflow for SUN Bucks tracking.
We completely understand the need to track the following student status fields as part of the EDCS template:
• uba_received_date
• nslp_received_date
• local_direct_certified_date
• benefits_extended_date
• Direct Certification Date
After careful review, we are unable to accommodate the addition of these fields to the current Free & Reduced page at this time.
However, we do want to share that the EDCS extract we have already built addresses this need directly. The extract dynamically calculates these dates based on the selected school year by analyzing the Eligibility Start Date (FRE.ESD) field. Students with an Eligibility Start Date between 07/01 of the current year through 08/31 of the following year are included in the extract.
The four date columns are populated automatically based on the student's Eligibility Source (FRE.SRC) value. The following source codes are supported:
• UBA → uba_received_date
• NSL (EDCS-NSLP Applications) → nslp_received_date
• LDC (EDCS-Local Direct Certification) → local_direct_certified_date
• EB (EDCS-Extended Benefits) → benefits_extended_date
The FRE.ESD date is inserted into the corresponding date column based on the student's source code. All other FRE.SRC values are excluded from processing. The output file is available as a .CSV download under the Download section.
