Parent Data Confirmation - Allow option to transfer to another school
The Parent Data Confirmation currently does not follow the student if they change schools because of the possibility of different questions, authorizations etc.
When a student changes schools, allow the Parent Data Confirmation records from ICL table to be copied to the new school. This will allow parents the ability to complete the process at the new school and finish where they left off. Many documents are Districtwide documents and are the same for each school.

It is already difficult for us to get parents to complete data confirmation annually and when a student transfers school it is a huge inconvenience to get them to complete it a second time. This would benefit parents and school employees greatly.

This is also a major issue for the income survey responses parents are required to answer during PDC because the data is not transferring to the DCL when students transfer between schools in district and this causes parents to re-answer the questions and then another F&R record is created.

Hello,
What is the update? Our students move a lot and parents are upset why they have to fill it authorizations again? -

Allow us the option to select which STU.SP codes do not need to complete data confirmation. We would like to skip all concurrent students.
Using the lockout function is forcing parents to complete data confirmation for concurrent students when we don't require it. -

This would also be beneficial to our students that are concurrent with another site in our district. Those parents currently have to complete PDC at both sites which is time consuming.

Maybe if the SN Primary Key could actually be ID instead of SN? That way the record should follow the student through the district. It appears that there's a problem with a student transfering within the same district where the Data Confirmation becomes available again to parents & a really big problem is if they've already done the Income Survey, it gets opened up again & a parent may end up overriding a previous Free record which should follow the student because it was the first survey (extremely important for CEP sites & Provision 2 sites (in their subsequent years)).

This is very important. I'm in a small district and I'm at the online school. Students enroll with me from secondary & primary and the Data Confirmations don't follow them. They complete them at the old site & then have to complete them again for my online school. To implement this would be a game changer.

Is it possible to create a manual override to data confirmation at the new school if they completed it at their previous school?
