This is a very important feature and teachers need access to run multi-student searches/keeps. Please update this programming to allow for them to do so.

In our Portal Options, we have the income survey enabled and have checked the box to Skip the Income Survey when the survey has been completed on or after the date specified. However, when students transfer from one site to another in our district, the income survey data they submitted at their previous site is not rolling over to the new site and is forcing parents to re-answer the income survey questions which is causing issues for CALPADS reporting. It would be nice if this data was collected one time annually based on the student ID number and whether there is already a active Free record for the student on file for the specified date set.

This is also a major issue for the income survey responses parents are required to answer during PDC because the data is not transferring to the DCL when students transfer between schools in district and this causes parents to re-answer the questions and then another F&R record is created.

This clarification message was added to the SUN Bucks communcation pieced linked earlier, so we are adding it here to maintain consistency as to our plans:
-----------------
There seems to still be some confusion, so we are clarifying out intended actions, as many comments added to this idea cover a wide variety of requests:
We are planning development during the current quarter to make specific upgrades to allow recording in Aeries which students were designated as Free or Reduced based on the UBA (and not the NSLP Application) via a new Source Code. Also, in the same way that districts can make the NSLP application available for download in the parent portal, a customized UBA could also be uploaded into the Parent Portal so they can access it to fill out.
The actual collecting of the UBA, analyzing the responses, assigning the status to a student, and conducting audits would…

Additionally, it would be nice if teachers or specified office staff could be automatically notified via email when students are picked up early.

Yes, this is a major issue for us too, as teachers who have been reassigned to a new teaching assignment, still had access to the prior gradebooks they were assigned to and they have access to delete the gradebook completely.

Yes, as of right now only Admin users can run a query to extract transcript records that are targeted for a specific course characteristic and we need counselors and registrars and administrators to be able to access this data using a query such as below:
LIST STU HIS STU.ID STU.NM STU.GR HIS.CN CRS.CO CCH.CD CCH.CD? HIS.MK HIS.RT IF STU.GR = 12 AND ( HIS.RT # N AND HIS.RT # R ) AND ( CCH.CD = 28 ) AND ( HIS.CC >= 5 )

This is a valid request where we really need the status tag to inactivate CHI schools. Schools can have updated CDS codes and we are not able to change the CHI record when there are ATT, CSE or ENR records attached to that school code.

The next residence field is not updating when the Mass Validate Address process is run. This process currently only updates the current year residence school and the next school and we have to manually fix all the matriculating students next residence school which takes a lot of time.

This does not just affect Aeries Analytics, but it also needs to ensure the GATE extended field in Aeries Query utilizes data from either the GTE or PRG table and not just the PGM table as we do not use the PGM table for recording GATE table since the GATE table has been added and the extended field is not working for us. I do not think we should have to enter data into both tables, therefore, the logic should pull from either table based on which table sites utilize.
