My superintendent was just asking about this yesterday & I sent a ticket in for this asking this same thing, or if Aeries knew what other districts were doing.

Seeing lots of talk on this issue in the listserv. I only have my CDS school with targeted Title 1, so it's just a handful of students that services need to be added to, but I can definitely see the benefit of having this ability.

This would be especially useful now that the whole file will reject. The Local Record ID in Calpads shows the Incident ID and viewing the rejected record does not include the date of the incident as stated in Stacy's original request. When a student has multiple suspensions in a year, we're having to click on each one in order to find the correct Incident ID. Having the ID on the list display for the student would help greatly. Don't take anything away, just add it.

The API integration between the CERS Student Groups extract in Aeries and the CERS system is not available in Aeries yet, but we wanted to give you more information about where we are in the development process.
We are testing the CERS API upload with two specific districts to test on their live data. We need to perform this two-step acceptance testing because we do not have a test site in the CERS system to test the upload, it must be tested on live data. Currently we are working through an issue with the files not uploading to CERS. Once the BETA testing districts let us know that the API is successfully adding/updating the student groups in the CERS system we will be able to release the update to all of our customers.
In the meantime please continue to use the scheduled process to automatically create the files and…

Adding to this, maybe if there's a way to reverse link the address on the demographic screen with the contact(s) that also reside at this address - similar to how the Primary Contact 1 & 2 are linked from the Contact screen. It would also be nice if it would trickle to the siblings as well. I've just had to change the address on 3 students, then make sure their contacts were updated too.

I added an idea that's very similar to this and agree that maybe different designations of Lives With or a pop up asking which contacts to update as well.

If a contact is marked Y for Lives With, please have the contact address update automatically if there's a residence address change on the student's demographic screen.

What I would like to see is the ability to have a date range to mass add the attendance code to several students as well as an attendance note, but also the ability to skip the attendance code, but mass add the attendance note with a date range instead of just one date (for those times when the site may have forgotten the note, but there's an attendance code already there.
I've had that instance happen today where the site just got so busy, she lost track of where she was & now she's going student by student to make sure the attendance code & note are there.....for 4 classes.

Bryan, are you thinking something similar along the lines of the Residence Survey & Military Survey where it has to be confirmed before it makes a program record?
If so, I think that would be a great idea so the office can just go in & review and click approve or reject.

Maybe if the SN Primary Key could actually be ID instead of SN? That way the record should follow the student through the district. It appears that there's a problem with a student transfering within the same district where the Data Confirmation becomes available again to parents & a really big problem is if they've already done the Income Survey, it gets opened up again & a parent may end up overriding a previous Free record which should follow the student because it was the first survey (extremely important for CEP sites & Provision 2 sites (in their subsequent years)).
