Transcript auto populate the Year according to the last entry
In previous years, the following would happen when entering multiple grades onto a transcript.
Click "Add One Record"
Click "School" then "Year", then "Grade", etc....
To add another grade to the same transcript, I would:
Click "Add One Record"
AERIES would auto populate the "School", "Year", and "Grade", according to the last entry
This year, the "School" and "Grade" are auto populated, but the "Year" is not. This really slows down the process of hand entering grades. I hope it can be changed back to the way it was in all previous years.2 votes -

Ability to print transcripts by subject area. You can view by subject area but not print.

Allow continuation schools to give students credits on a weekly basis then tally up all credits earned at semester for transcripts
Our Continuation school, like many others, award students course credit on a weekly basis to encourage attendance. We are currently tracking all of this on a spreadsheet but it would be so much better if we could utilize Aeries to somehow give the students their weekly credit and have it all total at Semester or Quarter.

Add Section and Staff ID to the Course History Transcripts page for Mass Add Records
We always use the "Mass Add Records" on the transcript screen, but now find we need the "Section" and "Staff ID" fields that are only available when you use "Add 1 Record" choice. Currently we have to go back into each line on the transcript to add the information to these fields. It is very time consuming.

Transcript Definition for DNR
On the Transcript Definition Page in the GPA Options section, please add an option to define the characters for DNR "Does Not Rank".

Transcript Indicators Codes on the Transcript Page
Currently Transcript Indicator codes on the Transcript page only display to Aeries users with Admin accounts. User accounts require Read permissions to the following tables: CRS, HIS and XRF. The logic should be changed so that only Read permission to HIS is required.

Allow Transcripts to be printed by teacher and sorted by period
Please add an option to Print transcripts by Teacher and sorted by period in the student transcripts report. This is so we can print all students in all periods (P. 1-6 in order) for one teacher (not all teachers).

Legal Name - District Student Lookup
Please add an option to search District student Lookup for students and also print the student's legal name on transcripts that are printed from the District Student Lookup page.

Transcripts - Mass Add Records; please add Dual Enrollment Credit School (College Level courses) and College Credit Hours to populate those fields during mass add transcript records.

Add Transcript Comments to Custom Text in TDF
For Districts that want to add custom text to Transcripts Comments, perhaps a disclaimer or explanation, add the Transcript Comments field (STU.CO) as and option in TDF for school customized text.

Allow transcripts to pull from the CRS Long Title to accommodate longer title courses
We are using Edgenuity and offering online courses. Titles all need to be updated and course titles are longer. The Transcript itself has limited space so there is a character limit. The Course Title field itself in CRS has a character limit of it's own so it would have to pull from the CRS Long Title

Transcript - Add Override Weight button for Single Course History Record
When students are transferring schools and have received honors weighting for a specific course at their prior school, it would be nice to have an override weight button on the transcript table under more. Registrar's could then use an existing non-weighted course code in their course table that matches subject area and validation rules, yet have the ability to tag that specific HIS record as H (Honors) under more on the transcript table in order to weight the GPA for that individual HIS record.
The alternative would be to create multiple generic course codes in the CRS table that match…

Limit the type of Transcripts teachers can print
We would like to see if can limit the type of transcripts that teachers can print to only UnOfficial Transcripts. We're just trying to ensure that student data is properly protected, used, and managed. The security of transcripts is very important and our school sites Counseling offices are the only ones that should be able to print official versions.

Transcripts - Option to limit records to credits completed.
When our counselors are trying to verify credits completed, it's cumbersome for them to have to scroll through all of the middle school courses that don't earn high school credits.

Withdrawal Grades on Transcripts
When inputting withdrawal grades on transcripts it would be so helpful if there was a code we could enter that would identify them as withdrawal grades and move all credits to 0.00. Or if there was a function where we could import the gradebook/grade page to that student's transcript for the withdrawal grades.
