TB Risk Assessment Feature Request
Problem Statement
The current Immunization tracking page lacks the specific data validation and fields required to maintain compliance with Los Angeles County's Pediatric TB Risk Assessment (TBRA) mandate for all students newly enrolled with the school district. Currently, free-text entry in result fields leads to inconsistent, non-queryable data, there is no space for appropriate testing'/results, and the TBRA workflow is entirely missing.
Proposed Solution
1. Existing TB Section Enhancements
On the Immunizations page, remove old table and create a NEW Table as outlined (see worksheet)
Data Validation: Restrict DATEs to after student birthdate and do not allow documentation of future dates
2. New TB Risk Assessment (TBRA) Tracking Section to have Reporting/Query Requirements to support this new data for audit compliance
Query Name: TB Certificate Status
Output Fields: District Entry Date (STU.DD), TB Certificate of Completion Date, Student Full Name (STU.NM), DOB, ID, Parent Name, Parent Contact Telephone, Parent Email.
Non-compliance (RED Box) initiated for TB Certicate of Completion Date field that is Null after STU.DD+90 days
Filtering: Provide the ability to filter the "TB Certificate of Completion Date" by Null prior to running the report, OR create a dedicated secondary report specifically designed to pull a list of students with missing TB Certificates, TB Risk Screen results and TB Testing data.
