Mark Contacts Confidential From Other Contacts
We need the ability to mark specific contacts as confidential and hide their contact information (name, phone, email, address) from other Parent Portal users, including biological parents who retain educational rights. This is critical for students in foster care, where a parent may legally access grades and attendance but is not permitted to know the foster placement details. Currently, entering foster parent contact information exposes it to the educational rights holder, preventing us from creating appropriate portal access for foster parents and ParentSquare. A role-based or contact-level confidentiality setting would allow foster parents to access necessary information without disclosing their details to unauthorized users.

When a biological parent retains educational rights and has access to the Parent Portal, but a student is in foster care, we need to enter the foster parents' contact details (phone, email, and address). Does Aeries have a way to hide this specific information from the educational rights holder?
Currently, if we do not enter the foster parents' information, they lack necessary access to student information and ParentSquare. To manage this, we have been asking foster parents to set up Google Voice numbers or new email addresses for the students.
