Parent Response to Survey Table (PRS)
The Parent Data Confirmation process is not working correctly when we confirm the Parent Response to Survey. We would find it very helpful to have the PRS table cleared out upon roll over to the new year. We have had an issue with confirming old parent responses and creating a new program record in this year when one was not warranted for the current year. We do not wish to see last year's parent responses in current year. Another question we have is, should the program even allow this to happen? If the date that the parent submitted the survey was in last school year, should Aeries enter a current record based on old data? We understand that there is the option to include a date range when confirming this data, but we would like the current year to be set as default.
This needs to be an individual decision by each District. Every year, a conversation happens with our Rollover team. At this meeting, you can request that this table NOT be rolled to the new year. They will document this request, and have you re-confirm it each year.
