Attendance by photo
Put a line between students on attendance by photo, not a line over A/T. Visually it's very messy and causes errors.

Include an absence percentage in Attendance Percentage by Date Range (APDR) table
Currently, the APDR page shows the students' percentage of attending school. Adding the percentage the student has not attended would be beneficial in regards to Chronic Absenteeism, CALPADS EOY report 14.1, which focuses on the percentage of days missed or, at the very least, allow query to calculate it using the APDR.APR. Currently, it does not.
Aeries Analytics does have the Chronic report, but that only focuses on 10% or more and does not break it down as needed in the EOY report 14.1. If we create our own Analytics dashboard (as I have), it does not include inactive students.…

Add room numbers to flex attendance page along with class and teacher data.
It would help our attendance office staff to see the room number as well as the teacher name and class on the attendance page in flex scheduling.

A report of the user (teacher or staff) that completed teacher attendance
Need a report or Query to find what Teacher or Staff member who submitted classroom attendance by Teacher/staff member Current report does not show if a Teacher completed attendance for the classroom and all students were present in class- only reflects if a teacher marked a student absent or staff member changed attendance codes for student

Gain and Loss Report
When the school type is Flex-Daily & Primary Class Tracking is enabled. Not all student names appear on the report, but the gain/loss totals are accurate.

Create a Management page for the Student Attendance Percentage by Date Settings
Currently, the Attendance Percentage by Date Settings only allows you to update the date range one student at a time or by using a change query.
To allow the sites the flexibility to use these amazing Attendance pages an update all students button or something similar for sites to use, would be useful.
Our sites would like to use these by week, month, and not always from the beginning of the year to a specific date.

Enhance Attendance Initialization to Support TRM Dates with Staff Development Waiver Minutes
The attendance initialization process does not currently accommodate Teacher Only days with waiver minutes as valid TRM start or end dates. This leads to a conflict where such dates are excluded from reporting entities unless manually adjusted. For PEIMS state reporting, it is critical that any calendar dates contributing to Operational, Instructional, or Waiver minutes are included within both the school calendar range and the begin/end dates of each six-week attendance reporting period.

Include a Summary Count of Attendance Note Code usage on Attendance Page
Add a summary count of Attendance Note code usage - similar to the AL code counts on this page already.
This would be useful for attendance clerks to quickly see how often a particular code has been used for a student.
Specifically, parents are allowed up to 10 excused absences before a doctor's note is required. Any instances in which a doctors note is provided do not count against that 10 allowance. Having the summary count would allow for quick check if the allowance of 10 excused (non-physician noted) has been exhausted.1 vote -
Attendance By seating chart - Improve UI feedback of the click
In the attendance by seating chart functionality the click selection feed back may benefit from slight improvement. When hovering over the selection the choice highlights in a light green. When clicked it changes to only a slightly darker shade of green. This slight shade difference, in combination with the delay in clicking and choice selection indication, causes confusion to the end user. Perhaps a different color or maybe just outlined circle when hovering would contrast more prominently with the filled in or darker shaded green after click/selection. Weekly Attendance Verification through Aeries
Our school currently uses DocuSign to have the teachers verify their weekly attendance reports. It would be nice to be able to have the teachers verify and sign their weekly attendance through Aeries and have a record of their signed reports in one place rather than over different data systems. Ideally, there'd be a way to have a pop-up notification that opens when the teachers log into Aeries that reminds them to sign the report once its been generated by the Attendance Coordinator. Ability to change the attendance screen
Would like the ability to move the attendance codes to the right of the screen instead of below attendance so we can get a quick snapshot of the attendance codes. We have a certain number of some of the codes that are allowed, it would be great to be able to see that quicker than having to scroll down to see it. Will help to avoid going over the capped number of say illnesses that we have set.

Independent Study Complete
Add option for Independent Study Agreement "Complete" . The current options does not allow the attendance clerk to mark what student they have completed and updated in aeries in attendance/signatures, etc. Any students with a contract stay in a "activated" or "pending" status.
Also would like the ability to delete an agreement if added to an incorrect student in error

Temporary Accounts for short term (day-to-day) substitutes.
Temporary Aeries accounts are used for short term substitutes at a few of the sites within our District. It would be helpful to allow the name of the substitute to be entered and visible on the Temporary Aeries Account Information sheet that is generated when the account is created and also the Attendance log report by Attendance Day for tracking purposes. Would it be possible to add a notes section that could be visible on these reports?

Removing SSA tag from Attendance by Photo
Currently, a student's SSA status tag is displayed on the Attendance by Photo page. Teachers project seating charts in the classroom to indicate where students should sit, but having the SSA tag on the student's photo reveals confidential information and leads students to question its meaning. The SSA status tag is already accessible in Student Search and the Class Attendance page which is only viewable by the teachers and staff.
Can the SSA label be removed from the Attendance by Photo page? This would allow teachers to continue using this feature in Aeries without disclosing a student's SSA status.

Add option to remove student id numbers from class rosters
When printing the class roster for a substitute there is currently no option to remove the student id from the table. In the event a school uses the student's id number as their Aeries password, this would pose a security risk if another student was able to get their hands on this sheet.

Attendance by Photo Creation Prior to New Term
Be able to create Attendance by Photo for each period before the term starts. This would help teachers to organize their seating charts for the first day of school, or a new term.

Update Look of Flex Attendance Calendar
Our alternative high school uses flex scheduling AND positive attendance. Tuesdays and Thursdays are focused strictly on credit recovery, while core classes are taught on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
Our attendance calendar is SUPER confusing to read due to the table headers. The greyed out boxes do not help that much. It would be nice if the attendance calendar looked exactly like a regular attendance calendar OR had all MWF classes on the left and TTH on the right. Attendance Infograph for Parents
Create an attendance notification that can be sent to parents via text/email. The notification should contain the number of days the student has missed and a chart of absence thresholds. It should also contain the school phone number.

Adding LNC lunch table options by site
The LNC table cannot be limited to certain codes for certain schools at this time. You can add the new codes to the Code Table, but they will show for all schools. We would like to have the flexibility to add options by school site.
