Graduation Track - Allow Two-character track codes
We would like to request an enhancement to Aeries to allow two-character Graduation track codes instead of limiting track codes to a single character.
Our district is running out of available one-character track code options. With only a single character available, the number of unique track codes is extremely limited, making it increasingly difficult to assign new codes as additional programs and tracks are created.
Allowing two-character track codes would greatly expand the number of available combinations while still keeping the codes short, manageable, and easy to identify. For example, moving from a single-character format to a two-character format would increase the available combinations from a very limited set to hundreds of possible codes, depending on the characters permitted.
This enhancement would provide districts with significantly more flexibility and would help prevent the need to repurpose existing codes or develop workarounds as available codes become exhausted.
