Long running process visibility page
Have a nightly processes that checks for possibly "hung" long running processes that have not completed within a reasonable time.
For example:
We just found that an "Update Attendance History" process was started in October (3 months prior), but never completed.
This also prevented the Scheduled process from running, so our AHS values were very out of date!
If the system was monitoring for these types of interrupted processes and alerting someone... this could have been found and resolved much earlier!!
