When creating an Assertive Discipline entry, there are some fields that our District has deemed as REQUIRED fields for an Administrator to fill in. For example: When a weapon is involved in an incident, the type of weapon is tagged as a REQUIRED field to be indicated in the Assertive Discipline entry. Unfortunately, Aeries will allow the user to finalize the entry without filling in one or more of the required fields, and then a DVS Error is generated, due to the fact that one or more REQUIRED field(s) were not filled in, after the fact.

Is it possible to get an alert message that does not allow the user to finalize an entry until all required fields are filled in? That would be very helpful in the moment the entry is being created instead of days later in a DVS Error message that the user may or may not see in a timely manner. Thanks for your consideration!
