When copying a student from another school database when the already record exists , the flags and contacts retain the date of the copy date as the updated date.

Per Aeries the system is working as designed but this is a false translation of the information being added/recorded.

Sample one - red flag that was copied from another student states it was last updated by a staff member who has been retired for at least two year but updated date uses the date the record was added vs original date.

Sample two - contact record shows the date the record was copied as the Last Updated Date , this can cause other staff to determine the record is accurate and updated to the correct recent info.

Aeries should copy the date as is or add a new field for the copy date to accurately read the information accordingly when looking at the records.
