Mobile Portal App - missing assignments should have Date Completed blank
When Parents/Guardians/Students view gradebook assignments, if the assignment is missing, the date completed should be blank.
When a student does not have a grade for an assignment and it is past due based on the assignment due date and the teacher has marked the Assignment as "Grading Completed", then on both the Parent Portal and in the Mobile Portal App the assignment score will be "blank"/"number of points" and the Date Completed will be blank. Past Due assignments with no score are treated as a 0 in the overall gradebook score calculation.
If the teacher enters a score of 0 for the assignment with a comment of "missing". Entering the score will populate the Date Completed. Effectively the teacher is changing the missing assignment to an assignment with a 0 score.
Best practice would be for the teacher to leave the score empty, select Grading Completed when the assignment is due, and allow the system to identify the missing assignments and determine the gradebook grade using the existing logic.
