Google Categories into Aeries Gradebook Categories
For Aeries Gradebook, enable the ability to import "Categories" from the Google Classroom.

Can we please get a response from the Aeries developement team on this item? This question was posted in 2020. That's not a good sign. Please advise. It only takes a moment to let us know here if this is on the roadmap for developement, or if it is already in process.

This should be a priority. There's too much extra clicking involved when you have to go and edit every gradebook entry. Help teachers to work smarter and not harder!

I would LOVE to see categories added as a feature to link directly to my google classroom. It would make it easier for parents to track what areas their students are struggling/succeeding in and be easier for teachers to reference by subject without having to do the work twice everytime.....once for google classroom and again for Aeries. Please, please, add this feature.

Please allow for the sync'ing of categories with the assignment/score import from Google Classroom to Aeries gradebook. At this time, the category is set to whatever the default category is for Aeries.

Yes the category needs to work.its a pain to upload grades and assignments then have to go change all the categories to what they should be!

Please allow for the syncing of topics to directly import from Google Classroom to Aeries grade book while it's importing the scores for the assignments. Thank you!

I don't do the categorizing because of how much extra work it is to go through each assignment and I hate it!!! Please fix this. When having intervention meetings for a student, it would be so nice to just pull up one category instead of everything.

Also, it would be nice to reset the default category for a gradebook.

Programming of any feature should be tested thoroughly before it is released. The stress on our teachers is increased when a function does not work the way that it is intended. Teachers should not have to "fix" the categories once assignments have been imported from Google, that is putting extra work on the teacher.
