Ability to Issue Credits for only sections marked as AltEd Enabled
With the new option available to mark individual sections in a regular secondary school as AltEd Scheduling Enabled, the ability to enable the Issue Credits button on certain teacher tables should be enhanced. Currently the School Options page allows only a Yes or No setting for Allow Issue Credit on Classes / Course Attendance pages. An option to enable these buttons on ONLY sections marked as AltEd Enabled should be offered for districts who do not want it available on all sections.

2-Mark Standards Based Grade Report Card
Allow for a 2-mark Standards Based Grade (SBG) report card. Currently the report card formats are fixed to either 3 or 4 marks. This does not accommodate elementary schools who are semester based, or issue grades only two times per year.

Enhancements for Add-On Graduation Requirement
We are looking for an enhancement to Add-on Graduation Requirements. Currently, only students in 11th and 12th grade can opt out of this. We would like the functionality to allow any student to opt out of the add-On graduation requirements.
In addition, Add a Mass update so add on grad requirements that have not been selected for students can be updated in mass. Ex: By Grade Level

Grade Report Options- Add Citizenship default value to mass add when we opening grading for teachers. And allow teachers to overwrite default value as needed. (We do not scan grades and the current option for Citizenship default does not work in our case)

Clarify which Reporting Period to select when initializing a new grade reporting cycle
Is there a way to have a separate check box for each grade reporting period based on each school's Term table, instead of combos? That way we can select multiple reporting periods to initialize. For example, if your term table has Q1, Q2, Q3, Q4, F, S, and 1st progress marking period you want to include Q1 and F, you could select both options. If the school is on Trimesters then they would only see the Tri options. It is very confusing to users which option to choose when they see quarters/Trimester combos and First/Fall combos. Report Cards - Radio button to exclude contact and parent addresses on printed report card on Grade Reporting
Because we are utilizing ParentSquare to send report cards, it would be nice to have a radio box NONE to exclude the address on the report card, similar to the one visible in Report Card History. The reason for this is so that any contacts who are to receive correspondence can receive report cards without having the address visible.

UC/CSU Graduation Status Summary By Subject Area
Under the Graduation/College Readiness Dashboard can you add UC/CSU tabs that will show Graduation Status Summary by Subject Area of students on/off track by letter grade not credits completed. Since UC/CSU requirements are based on a letter grade the student receives for each course and subject.

Grade Reporting and Transcripts - Support Inactive Valid Marks.
We wanted to remove the + and - (B+, B-, C+...) grades going forward. We cannot do it because the Valid Marks for the current year are used to determine the cumulative GPA. Grades in previous years that had the + and - were being excluded from the calculations. We had to add them back. If the system would support inactivating valid marks, we could leave them there for calculation purposes, but no one could use them going forward.

Allow teachers to make actual comments on grades instead of the limited choices
Many times the 3 options allowed does not even begin to describe what I really want to convey to parents or what really should be on the report card.
Create a new option called Manual and when chosen allows a teacher to enter a freeform textbox up to 1000 characters to enter whatever they want. Disk space is cheap. To put it in perspective:
If every teacher in the district, writes a comment for every student for every grading period (6 teachers x 11500 Students x 8 grading periods x 1000 characters ) this would equate to 552 Megabyts or…
