Do not allow historical records to be edited - Security Enhancement
For historical information such as CNF and ADS, it would be nice to prevent changing records that were originally created in a prior year while logged into the current year. So in 2020, although I can scroll down and see CNF or ADS entries from 2019, 2018, etc., I would not be able to modify or delete them (based on date).2 votes
Student Groups in District to honor User School Permissions
Allow Student Groups created in the District to honor user school permissions. This will allow creating a district wide group assigning multiple users to that group without creating multiple groups.
Example, create district wide pre-enrolled group, or district wide analytics group for D/F, district wide Chronically absent analytics group.8 votes
Add User fields to security (U1,U2,U3,etc.)
Add user fields to security to label user's work tittles to distinguish their positions and be able to query them much easier. This would be for user codes on the UGN table.5 votes
Security Permissions Field Highlighting
Add web programming where the Security Fields change to a different color to highlight that the Group/User has customized Security permissions (example: STU Table and the EL team only has access to Update Language Fluency, but read access to everything else)1 vote
Add more granular control to the Reset Parent/Student Accounts function
We would like the ability to limit which Parent/Student accounts would be affected by the Reset Parent/Student Accounts function.
Currently, the options are all Students, all Parents, or both.
Adding the ability to filter by grade/class/school, use Keep queries, and filter by active/inactive related student records would all be very helpful tools.1 vote
Need an option to sync UGN.MFA and UGN.MFK to other Database Groups
When enabling MFA, the keys for each user are stored in the default database for the given group. To help streamline access for districts, an option is needed to propagate those keys to the other default databases within the other groups. Preferably
Another option would be to instead allow all database groups to get their security exclusively from the Default Database Group while allowing an exception for a sandbox or training group (maybe via an XML config item or a DPT value).2 votes
Enhance Password Validation
Add functionality to validate a password on insert and/or update to the UGN table. Additionally, check against banned passwords and prompt user if an invalid password is detected. Log the last time a password was validated and do not include it in the "Print Users with Invalid Passwords" report if no changes have been made since that date.0 votes
