The ability to create a counselor subgroup in Aeries Analytics
We are moving to using Aeries Analytics dashboards for our entire school district to be able to identify how to best aim our resources. Our counselors, by necessity have access to the entire school they work at, but they also have a caseload of students specific to them. We need them to be able to run analytics based on their caseload, but currently we cannot find a way to use the counseling field to create a dynamic group that would do this. This field cannot be a static student group because we constantly get new enrollments and the data would not be accurate. We have put in a help ticket, and they have confirmed there is not currently a way to provide counselors with a dashboard looking at just their students. For our interventions program, and monitoring students, this is going to be essential. We have 5 counselors at each of our high schools and we have 4 high schools plus an alternative school, so this affects 21 of our users who are responsible for ensuring students are successful across all sorts of indicators, from graduation status, to a-g status, to current grades, progress monitoring for English Learners, Special Education support, etc.
