Survey eligibility/participation dates for Military and Homeless
We have an issue regarding the Homeless program records as well as the Military Survey that is in online enrollment (AIR)
In Aeries on the program screen, the eligibility dates are the ones that are highlighted for these programs. But when the record is imported from AIR the participation dates are the ones that are completed (this is really a problem for the military survey as those go directly into programs).
We have a process that takes the data that is added to PRS (for the homeless) and creates program records using eligibility dates (the ones that are highlighted).
We have had to turn off both questions in the online enrollment as the dates are coming into the wrong field (as we instruct the schools that the highlighted fields are the ones used). This is a problem for us as sometimes the students will have both a eligibility record and a participation record and then we get a CALPADS overlap error.
We also end date all program records at the end of the year to keep things 'clean". This resulted in 1700 CALPADS errors as I discovered the dates were in two different fields.
