  1. Online Enrollment - View Button for Partial Incomplete

    There is a view button for completed imported enrollment information, but there isn't one for the partial, incompletes. This button would help us be able to tell parents what information is missing from their online enrollment forms.

    Hello, the idea (or bug) has been completed in the 8/27/24 update. Here are the Revision Notes:


    Student Data > Demographics > Import

    • The Set as Incomplete button was replaced with the Update Status button, providing more options for updating an enrollment status:
    • A Pending Import record can be set to Partial (Incomplete) or Delete.
    • A Partial (Incomplete) record can be set to Delete.
    • A Deleted record can be set to Pending Import or Partial (Incomplete), allowing users to recover deleted records if needed.
    • The ability to view the confirmation page for Deleted and Partial (Incomplete) enrollments is now supported. The View button is now available on the Aeries Student Import page. Selecting the View button opens the confirmation page to view student enrollment details from within Online Enrollment. See Aeries Online Enrollment Importing Students.

    Hello, this idea (or bug) has been completed in the 5/21/2024 update. Here are the Revision Notes:

    Attendance Accounting > Configurations > Attendance History Config

    • Date-time stamps are now provided to indicate when the process started and      completed, whether run manually or nightly.
    • The Update All Schools Now button is now disabled while the process is running, preventing the process from being run multiple times simultaneously. The button becomes available again once the process is completed and the page is refreshed. See Attendance History Configuration.

    Hello, this issue has been resolved in the 03/02/22 update.  Here are the Revision Notes:

    Immunizations - COVID-19 boosters recorded in the Immunizations Boosters (IMB) table are now included. Student Immunizations Cards Report - COVID-19 boosters recorded in the Immunizations Boosters (IMB) table are now included.

  7. Adjust Data Confirmation to support separate Education Levels for Parents/Guardians

    Adjustments needed because of changes CALPADS is making for Parent/Guardian information on the SINF file: Data is now being collected separately for Guardian 1 and Guardian 2: First Name, Last Name, Education Level.

    Move any reference to Highest Parent Ed Level into section collecting Contact Info for Parent/Guardian. Use new field on Contacts to hold this information (CON.ELV) - same codes as old STU.PED field and allow parents to enter/update data as part of DC process.

  8. Flex Attendance Quick Print in period school types - Not legible, too long, condense report

    The Flex Attendance Quick print for period attendance schools should be formatted like the traditional attendance quick print, so the reports are usable. Right now the data is not legible.

    Hello, this idea (or bug) has been completed in the 05/21/2024 update. Here are the Revision Notes:


    Reports - Student Attendance - The report now accommodates schools using Flex Scheduling with period attendance, as follows. See Student Attendance Report for Flex.

    • The report can be run from the Attendance page for the currently selected student, or run from the Reports menu. When run from the Reports menu, the report options page is displayed and will print the last student accessed.
    • The option to print a summary or detailed report was added.
      • Detailed - All dates are included, even if there are no absences
      • Summary - Only dates where absence codes exist are included.
    • The Start Date and End Date options were added allowing the report to be generated for a specific time period.  In the Attendance Summary section, the Days Enrolled and Days Present totals now exclude non-school days…

  9. Adjust Socio-Economic Disadvantaged Status Calculation

    Adjustments are needed in Aeries Analytics because of changes CALPADS is making for Parent/Guardian information on the SINF file. Education Level is now being collected separately for Guardian 1 and Guardian 2, Currently one method the student meets the definition is if the highest education level in STU.PED is Not A High School Graduate.

    Hello, a fix for this issue was released on 06/04/2024. Here are the relevant revision notes:

    Aeries Analytics (LCAP Indicators) - The Socio-Economically Disadvantaged Status now uses the Ed Level field on the Contacts page (CON.ELV) instead of Student Parent Education Level (STU.PED) to determine student's Socio-Economically Disadvantaged status, according to changes in CALPADS requirements. The criteria is now based on both parent's highest education level being equivalent to 'not a high school graduate,' unless only one parent is reported to CALPADS. Contacts are identified as Parent/Guardians based on Record Type field (CON.CD) according to District Settings.  See Analytics Socio-Economically Disadvantaged Students or Chart of LCAP Indicators.

  10. Online Enrollment - Allow the use of dates instead of ages to determine if student is able to enroll.

    Online Enrollment. Request to have the Enrollment Age Limits changed from age to birthdates. Even the option to use age and/or birthdate. A birthdate would assist in input errors or allowing parents to continue the process for students who are too young.

    Online Enrollment - Student age was calculated relative to the current date instead of the first day of the registration year, fixed. See Aeries Online Enrollment Parent Process


    Online Enrollment for CA

    • The Enforce TK Birth Dates option was added allowing admin users to prevent a student from being enrolled in Transitional Kindergarten if their birth date does not fall within CDE eligibility guidelines. See Aeries Online Enrollment Admin Settings
    • The grade level estimation for Transitional Kindergarten now reflects the latest CDE guidelines.

  16. Flex Student Attendance - Add the Section Number before the course Course Title in Flex Student Attendance

    In the Flex Student Attendance page, please add the section number before the course title. This would be helpful for attendance clerks to see the section number right there when having to update or change absence codes.

    Hello, a fix for this issue was released on 07/16/2024. Here are the relevant revision notes:

    • Student Data > Attendance - For schools using Flex Scheduling, the following features were added to enhance functionality:
    • The Options button was added which opens a window providing the following settings:
    • Show Flex Period Time - If selected, the period start and end times are displayed in H:MM format. The setting remains saved even after leaving the page or logging out of Aeries.
    • Show Teacher - If selected, the teacher names are displayed.
    • The section number is now displayed next to each course.
    • The current date is highlighted in yellow.

    • Student Data > Programs > Language Assessment - If a student has a language code in Online Enrollment but language codes are blank on the Language Assessment page, the language codes from Online Enrollment will now be imported and populate the language fields on the Language Assessment page.     UPDATE: As of 2/11/2024 the CRDC Extract process has been updated to meet the requirements for the 2021-2022 CRDC Data Collection.  See the Revision notes dated 2/11/2024 for a more thorough explanation of all the changes. Please be sure you are updated to the latest version of Aeries to access these changes.

    NOTE: There are 2 sections where the data is not quite extracting properly, so we are suppressing this data from the extract at this time.

    DISC: Student Discipline (Corporal Punishment, Expulsion, Suspension)

    • DISC-27: School Days Missed Due to Out-of-School Suspension

    OFFN: Offenses

    • OFFN-1: Offenses – Number of Incidents

    We will immediately be adjusting the extract further to include these sections, and that work remains our highest priority. However we wanted our Customers to know about the work-around for these sections, if needed:

  19. Add a report for Pre-referral Interventions

    There currently is no way to print pre-referral interventions. Pre-referral interventions are attached with the intervention to suspension paperwork as evidence of ongoing issues and attempts to prevent. Please add a button or report to print pre-referral interventions for a student.

    Hello, this work item has been completed in the 7/30/24 update. Here are the Revision Notes:

    • Reports > Pre-Referral Interventions - The report was added to allow a user or teacher with permissions to Pre-Referral Interventions (PRI) to print data from the Pre-Referral Interventions page for a specified date range. District-level users are able to print a district-level report. See Pre-Referral Interventions.
