We've just shipped the final set-up piece to allow the creation of the SUN Bucks Supplemental Submisison extract. The final piece, the EDCS extract itself, is in development, and will be released as soon it passes final testing..
- Code Translations: Added support for NSLP Source Code (FRE.SRC) mappings in CALPADS Code Translations. Districts can now map local NSLP source codes to EDCS fixed codes. This new mapping will be used for supporting Sunbucks. See Prepping for Supplemental SUN Bucks Collection (SSBC) via EDCS.

4/2/26 - Recent updates to Attendance Recovery
Yesterday’s release contained quite a few items related to Attendance Recovery that we wanted to bring to your attention:
- We’ve updated our Workflow AR document to make it clear about new set-up tasks that must be completed in order for the process to function properly.
- A new District Setting for ADA Make-Up has been added and must be defined in order to enable this new functionality.
- A new field (ATT.AMU) has been added to store Attendance Minutes Utilized when ADA Make-Up is applied for Attendance Recovery.
- Minutes will be auto-calculated based on the student's Special Ed Alternate Minimum Day, school type, or grade level, depending on which applies.
- We will be adding a process soon to automatically update the ATT.AMU field for any existing absences previously recovered via AR.
- We’ve added the Attendance Recovery Bank page that provides a read-only view of each…

we need a column for notes that we can add as to why we are not importing a student so Administrators or others that are assisting will know easily why this student is still in the Pending Import and not to be imported yet. such as missing proof of residence or birth certificate

My understanding is via the PDC the income survey can be used for LCFF as well as the separate UBA form (however that form will be handled). We have a hard time getting our families to fill in the simple income survey on the PDC. If we change it to the UBA our LCFF funding is going to drop as the families are not going to go to the UBA extent. We have so many DC families so those needing to do the UBA to get their SunBucks is minimal.
If others are in a different boat maybe do TWO? The UBA and the simple income survey.
