CALPADS SDEM - Staff extract was extracting staff with Hire dates up to October 31.
CALPADS SDEM Extract: Adjust the query that selects staff to use the Census Date rather than October 31 when evaluating the hire date and the Job Assignment Start Date (STJ). Only extract Staff as of Information Day.

Load Grades From Gradebook needs to keep the focus on the Teacher
On the Grades by Teacher Page, when using the Load Grades from Gradebook feature, the page needs to stay on the selected teacher.
When the teacher name is entered in the Search box, the page will return to the first teacher in the list after importing grades.
The focus will stay on the selected teacher when clicking the mouse on the teacher name in the teacher list and not using the Search box.2 votesHello, the idea has been completed in the 04/15/2021 update. Test Scores widget on the Profile Page - show all test parts for the same test
The profile screen currently shows the most recent tests. It appears to pull from the date field right now. If a student finishes different parts of their ELPAC tests on different days, it will not show all of their results on the profile screen even though the test was taken in the same month. I would like to request Aeries to pull from the test admin field instead of the date taken field.

Aeries Mobile Portal Apps - Add a setting to allow users to enable or disable the color in the grades screen.

Teacher Portal Attendance - Allow teachers to mass add multiple sections attendance codes and attendance notes
Since the mass add attendance codes has begun, Teachers are missing attendance if they do not enter for all sections they have during a certain period. It would be helpful if they could check an update all sections for periods box when choosing the code they want to mass add.

Test Scores sorting for the ELPAC 20-21 test parts
Change the default sorting of the Test Scores page so the ELPAC 2020-21 test parts sort correctly.

Import Test Results
Minor follow up fixes were needed for the ELPAC 2019-20 Test, fixed.
The Test Layout name needed to be updated to ELPAC Test Results – SY:2019-20, fixed.
The Sorting of the Test Scores Table needed improvements for handling tests such as ELPAC/IELPAC where sub-tests can have different test dates, fixed.
Test Scores were not visually separated by school year, fixed. -
UC/ELC and CCGI - Add AUT as a Parent Consent Option
Create UC/ELC Extract and CCGI Extract need an option to use AUT instead of STU/SUP on the parental consent question.

School Options Incorrect Validation Message when Saving
School Options page is giving a message when trying to change the school to Scheduling Type of "Secondary" and Attendance Type of "Period" and not able to save.

The SMS Board in a Flex scheduling school is not rendering on weaker machines.
The SMS Board fails to load (spinning wheel) and no error message displays in the Flex Scheduling school.

Add Peace Officer to the Behavioral Emergency Staff Type Dropdown
Per CDE the restraints and seclusions made by peace officers should not be reported to CALPADS. We do know that it is required for Civil Rights Data Collection. Can a code be added to the BER Staff Type dropdown to identify mechanical restraint instances performed by peace officers?
2 votesHello, this item has been completed in the 06/18/2020 update. Here are the Revision Notes:
Behavioral Emergency – A new field has been added to this page to allow tracking the reason of the restraint/seclusion. There are no default/state codes. All the codes are user-defined and they are not reported to CALPADS.
Additionally, after clarification from CDE, the Staff Type description has been adjusted to “02 – District police officer, school resource officer (SRO) or other Peace Officer NOT performing an arrest”. Any BER record containing this code will not be reported to CALPADS. If a student is restrained while being arrested, a disposition code for Arrested should be entered, not a restraint record.

Global Messages to handle messages district-wide
Modify school messages/global messages to handle messages from the district as well. This will allow school messages as it does today, but also handle district messages to display to all schools.

Student Data Audit
on the Student Data Audit, the warning "Offense assigned to a different school" is displayed for students when ADS.SCL <> STU.SC. This includes students who have moved to a different school, who were enrolled at the school in the incident on the date of the incident. The report should check their enrollment and not display a warning for those students.

Student Data Audit Report:
Students born inside the US were being warned with “The student initial US School Enrollment Date must be greater than 4 years from the student birth date”, fixed.
Also, Programs 300-306 now look at Eligibility dates instead of participation dates.
Also, a discipline warning was being unnecessarily generated by students who change schools “Offense assigned to a different school.”, fixed. -
Sync All Google Grades
Grading requires that the teacher create the assignment and then import from Google classroom into Aeries (A fetch grades). This works, but if teachers have late work they have to double enter the scores. (into Google Classroom and into Aeries, or click the import again from within Aeries).
It would be nice to have a button within Google classroom or Aeries for a teacher to click that will automatically sync all assignments (or the selected assignments) and maintain that sync if a teacher selects this option.
