Hello, we wanted to let you know that this item is being actively researched so it can be brought forward for development. We are seeking clarification from the CDE to determine the scope of this work. Be advised the solution will require the use of the single-column enhanced transcripts in order to allow room for the visual printing of the seal(s). We will alert you when development is ready to be scheduled.

4/2/26 - Recent updates to Attendance Recovery
Yesterday’s release contained quite a few items related to Attendance Recovery that we wanted to bring to your attention:
- We’ve updated our Workflow AR document to make it clear about new set-up tasks that must be completed in order for the process to function properly.
- A new District Setting for ADA Make-Up has been added and must be defined in order to enable this new functionality.
- A new field (ATT.AMU) has been added to store Attendance Minutes Utilized when ADA Make-Up is applied for Attendance Recovery.
- Minutes will be auto-calculated based on the student's Special Ed Alternate Minimum Day, school type, or grade level, depending on which applies.
- We will be adding a process soon to automatically update the ATT.AMU field for any existing absences previously recovered via AR.
- We’ve added the Attendance Recovery Bank page that provides a read-only view of each…

We've just shipped the final set-up piece to allow the creation of the SUN Bucks Supplemental Submisison extract. The final piece, the EDCS extract itself, is in development, and will be released as soon it passes final testing..
- Code Translations: Added support for NSLP Source Code (FRE.SRC) mappings in CALPADS Code Translations. Districts can now map local NSLP source codes to EDCS fixed codes. This new mapping will be used for supporting Sunbucks. See Prepping for Supplemental SUN Bucks Collection (SSBC) via EDCS.

Add the ability to automatically close or lock grade entry for 12th-grade students on a district-defined date.
Provide an Aeries feature that allows districts to establish a specific grade-level closing date for Grade 12. Once the designated date and time are reached, grade entry for Grade 12 students would automatically be closed or restricted.
This would be particularly useful for districts that need to establish a firm deadline for senior grades prior to final transcript processing, graduation reporting, CALPADS reporting, and other end-of-year processes.
Suggested Functionality:
Allow Aeries administrator to specify a grade-level closing date and time.
Allow the setting to apply specifically to Grade 12.
Once the date/time is reached, prevent teachers from entering or modifying grades for Grade 12 students.
Ideally, allow the feature to be configured separately for each school/site when needed.
Example Use Case
A district could set June 5 at 5:00 PM as the Grade 12 grade-closing deadline. After that date and time, teachers would no longer be able to modify senior grades through normal grade-entry screens. Authorized administrators could still make corrections through an override process.
This would provide districts with greater control over the senior grading process and help ensure that grades remain finalized while graduation, transcript, and state reporting processes are being completed.
Requested Enhancement: Grade-level-specific automatic grade closing/locking based on a configurable date and time.
