CRSC extract creating Course Section ID greater than 10 characters in some instances
In some cases, the system-generated Course Section ID is greater than 10 characters. Specifically this seems to be happening when a course taken at a community college has the HIS.SDE field populated, and the student's enrollment includes a Home Reporting School code. It's that combination of things that's causing the system-generated Course Section ID is greater than 10 characters. Courses reported for other schools don't have that issue, probably because it's the trigger for the Reporting Home School that's adding two additional characters in front of the Course Section ID.
4 votesHello, a fix for this issue was released on 06/04/2024. Here are the relevant revision notes:
School Info > Imports and Exports > CALPADS Extracts
- The CRSC and SCSC extracts generated a fatal error when the Section ID exceeded 10 characters for students with dual enrollment where the section ID for a college course was virtualized. The name in the course section ID is now reformatted to prevent the error.

SELA Conflict Report-Add options for report
CALPADS - SELA Conflict report - Needs report options added:
1) Add option to skip Pre-school students (errors reported are invalid for PS)
2) Have report honor KEEP and SKIPS.

SELA Conflict Report – The report has been adjusted to handle Adult English Learner (ADEL) language fluency. Also, it now supports KEEP / SKIP, school selection (when logged at the district and not running the report from the CALPADS page), and the ability to skip Pre-School (PS) grade level. -
Language Assessment - Retitle Redesignation Date Field to RFEP
To be in alignment with CALPADS verbiage, rename the Redesignation Date field in the Language Assessment table to RFEP Date. Currently the EL and IFEP Dates are in alignment.

Flex Scheduling Master Scheduling Board
When trying to schedule, the master schedule puts all term 2 in unassigned teacher rather into the teacher section

Lunch count boxes labeled for teachers when taking attendance
Currently teachers do not see labels above the lunch count boxes when entering counts, just two boxes next to each other. It would be great if these boxes were labeled, one as "Count" and one as "Comment" so the teachers knew where to put the number. Thank you!

Teacher Attendance – This page now supports lunch count recording for flex and staff section schools doing daily attendance. Further programming will be done to add this function to the Teacher Attendance By Photo page. Also, headers for the Lunch Count fields were added, for improvement of data accuracy.

Add function to update CCI for all students
Please add a function to update the CCI - College Career Indicator table for all students. Currently the CCI table is updated as the page is accessed for a student.

Students with Perfect Attendance Report - Adjust for Staff ID Based counselor option
Adjust "Students with Perfect Attendance Report" to work when the school has enabled the Staff ID Based counselor option.

Please make HIS.SDE and HIS.CH visible on the Transcript input form when entering College courses
Right now when entering College courses on a student's transcript, the two extra fields don't appear until the record is saved. At that time, validation check is performed against the Course ID entered into the field and check the Course Level (CRS.CL) to see if it is 23 or 24. If so, it then makes those two fields visible in READ mode.
If the validation could take place AFTER the course ID is entered and display the additional fields at that time, that would be an great enhancement and make it much easier for counselors and registrars to make sure…

- Transcript - The Dual Enrollment Credit School and College Credit Hours fields will now display on the screen when adding a new record, after a course number is populated and the course has a course level flagged with Course Level 23-College Credit Only or 24-Dual Credit. Previously the fields were not displayed until the record was saved which required the user to edit the record again to complete the data entry.

Remove Class Rank and Size from the GPA record when a student's Grad Track (STU.GRT) is set to not be included in Class Rank.

Please make the security pages have the top row headers (with read, update, insert, delete, etc.) frozen/sticky when you scroll down so you know which one to check as you are going down.

Immunization - Student Immunization Status Report at the District Level should allow multiple schools selected
Can we have the ability to select multiple schools on the Student Immunization Status Report at the district level? It only allows me to select one school at a time, which defeats the purpose of it being run at the district level.

Test Scores - Option to Display Test Scores by Date Without Grade Level Headings
We would like the option to display test scores by date, not with grade level headings (see image). When data is displayed by year and grade separately, they are out of timeline order. The grade headings get displayed out of consecutive order. Also, could this option be applied to filtering by Test ID?

Would it be possible to put the names of the extracts under the "create files" for EOY like you have had in the past? It looks a bit confusing as to which files fall under the current way it's set up.

Parent Portal GRC table error
In some cases, where the Inactives school is set up as Elementary, and no other schools are set up as Secondary, parents may receive an error page when attempting to log into the Parent Portal. This may also occur while emulating the parent.
